Hi, I'm Xai aka Liliku Liku (Lili for short.. pronounced "LeeLee"). I'm extremely new to Final Fantasy. I'm on the trial version right now, but i'm working through it and i'm liking it so far! Just waiting for this week's paycheck...

I'm not entirely new to RP, and i'm not the best at RP (anxiety on lack of creativity and time-restrictions due to health/work) and i'm not great with remembering/learning lore, but i'm trying! (I don't have specific questions, but when I do, i'll ask). I do my best.

MMORPG background: I have played other MMORPG's before. Not that great at it. Derped my way through levels, heh. I play for fun and I do have fun.

RP experience: RP in the other MMORPG's as well as LARP and tabletop gaming.

Character ideas/info: I have a Lallafell so far. I love her.

How did you learn about the coalition? Google.

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy): I used to be a heavy RP'er. Due to work and health issues, I may only be a light-medium once I get my bearings. We'll see...

Anything from real life you'€re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.): As previously stated, I do have health issues that sometimes prohibit me from being on game or being social. Sometimes I may not be able to do things (even if previously promised) due to the nature of my health issue. I do try my hardest to be social, sometimes I just need a little nudging! haha. I do use discord for majority of my social interactions.

I apologize if this post sounded negative at all, I just wanted to explain my situation and ask that you bear with me as I work on learning the ropes and try to acclimate myself. I very much welcome new friends, PMs, chats, and help when i'm able to feel up to talking.

Welcome ! Feel free to ask around anything you don't feel 100% confident about. We discuss lore if need be or even how to handle RP situations both IC and OOC(real life too :3). There's not too much that isn't welcome here in regards to just RP'ing and how to have the most fun comfortably with it :p. Hope you have fun

oh i have two questions actually. What is a linkshell? and how do I delete a forum post I accidentally posted (I accidentally posted my hello post twice! eek! not here five minutes and i'm derping! )

A linkshell is kinda like a specified side chat. Lore-wise it's a shell with frequencies allowing someone to contact other individuals like a walkee talkee. You can make them at some areas of the main towns and invite whoever you want or join other linkshells to communicate among fellow friends or with a common goal. I know some common ones are hunt linkshells for players to say "this boss spawned in this map here! come get it!" or RP linkshells to organize meets, events, and the like. Some just have em for friends, they're nice optional chats besides free companies(guilds) that you can have up to 8 of (I think it's 8?). I think you just hit the report button on the post yourself and tell the admins/mods to just delete it, it's not too big a deal (and I don't see any double posts so it's definitely not a biggie XD).

Welcome to FFXIV.  As far as the health issues and what not, most folks will understand when you just don't have the spoons to deal with activities like this.  

We're a bit more civil bunch over all compared to some other MMO's so I hope that will help you find a spot to fit in over here.

Are you completely new to Final Fantasy in general, or just the online game? If yes to the former, WELCOME to a WONDERFUL franchise of video games. <3

I played FFXIV Online a couple of years ago and got to level 20 on my midlander character, but then didn't play again for various reasons. I'm back now on the forums and I'm hoping to return to the game soon, so we can maybe hook up if you'd like.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. People will understand, though, as Erah'sae said. So don't let that cause you any grief if you're worried about upsetting people because of something you can't avoid. We totally get it.

I'm new to FF mostly in general. I know it's and pieces from over the years of people mentioning stuff, but not a whole lot. I just started gaming about 3-4 years ago. (Even tho I'm 30 haha. I call myself "baby nerd")
