Here is a link to some of my art that I have uploaded to Photobucket. I haven't drawn anything for a very long time. I seem to write more than anything else now.

By the way, most of my art is of dragons.
Very good dragons. Me likey!
Very nice! I really like your style. I'm so jealous of you people with artistic talent.

Bah, artistic talent doesn't exist.

Only hard work.
Actually some people could probably try a lifetime at being good artist and wouldn't be. Different wiring of the brain. Different inspiration.

Might be, I just don't believe in "talent" in the way most people do. They think that talent is somekind of gift give to an individual by some celestial entities (variable Big Grin) and I dare to disagree. I've never been musically 'talented', yet I'm one of the best students only because I actually train over and over. Next thing: Never been artistically talented, yet because I work hard, I can now compete with people who draw from their toddlerhood (variable). Of course, you can't excell at something if you're not interested enough in it.

Talent is just an excuse when you don't have enough guts to carry it through to the end.

Combined and underlined: The talent is a lie.

Thanks guys. I suppose I'd find myself somewhere in the middle of the "talent vs hard work" argument. I think that people can have a certain degree of natural ability, but without practice and interest, that ability can become an untapped potential.

I've always been able to draw dragons with little effort, although when I first started drawing dragons in elementary and middle school, they sure looked nothing like those I've linked to. While I have always thought of dragons as "easy," it is probably my deep interest and constant practice (without realizing that it was practice) that have made them seem that way.

I have always envied those who can draw humanoids effortlessly, because I would love to be able to draw my own D&D and gaming characters. There are many things that I can draw if I have a reference, but what I end up with always ends up being a copy of that reference, lol. I am sure that with enough practice and repetition, I could draw the things I want to, but my frustration over being unable to "get it quickly" often overrides my interest in continuing.

Anyway, thanks again, and I'll post if I end up adding anything to my page. Smile
I am a sucker for dragons, hence, I am in LOVE with your artwork. It is magnificant! Keep up the great work....I look forward to seeing more. ^.^
I agree with Arzy!

The dragons look pretty good. I like some of their stances. I also outline some areas in which you can improve, if you want to know, PM me.
