Oh how I LOVE Nobuo Uematsu!! I consider his work on Lost Odyssey to be the pinnacle of his career. I'm also digging the direction XIV is taking . The battle music is the best.

That guy there is my hero.

Seriously, he's up there, in my opinion, among the top 5 composers of the past 50 years. Admittedly, I don't study, nor have I ever studied music.

I love his work so much. Also, he offered the audience a cookie at the last Distant Worlds concert in DC.

I'll keep it nice and simple. He is awesome.

Funny old guy with a stache in a studio full of instruments and a table ping pong table, who just waits for the inspiration to hit him and composes right there on the spot without a score?
