A reminder to everyone that the date auction will be this Saturday in the Mist, Ward 3, so hang onto your gil until then! We're still taking last-minute volunteers for dates, and we have some previews of our lovely dates for you!
Personally I am looking forward to this fun little show. It should also be noted, if it hasn't already, that the date itself need not take place on the night of the auction; it is highly recommended that you and your prospect pick out in advance a time that will offer optimal return in terms of hours and enjoyment both.
I'm eager to see the turn-out. After all, a new friend can be worth any price, and it's all for a good cause. The Harbingers of Dawn always leave our modest already-extant House open, and when we can get a larger one this is not like to change. Besides, who knows? Perhaps friendship can blossom into something more. 'tis the season...

The date auction was a success! The turn out was much better than expected, and in total we raised about 1.3 million gil toward a large free company house! It's a small step considering they're going for around 70 million, but it's certainly a start! Thank you to everyone who attended the date auction! It went very smoothly, it was fun, and no one fed the few trolls who tried to crash our party. Thank you to our lovely hostess, our dates, our bidders, and even those who came out just to spectate and role-play!
 We appreciate it.
