Hey guys, name's J'dari Tia.
RPG Background:
I have played lots of RPG, mostly single player like Elder Scrolls. So, FFXIV is my first real MMORPG. I use to play ARR since day one, but I left for 3 months due to new games etc. Only returning a couple weaks ago, so I'm familiar with ARR. I was in a few different servers, but this time I decided to join Balmung as it's pretty RP driven as well more experienced players to hang with.
RP experience:
Aside from D&D, and forum RPing, Elder Scrolls Online being the latest. As above, FFXIV is my first real public RP attempt in a game. Tho, the concept isn't entirely new.
Character info:
A little IC background. J'dari is a young, 19yo, male Miqo'te pirate. His father was J'gigan Nuhn, and captain of the pirate ship, The Jackal. Unlike many Nuhns, J'gigan cared not of breeding every Seeker tail he could, nor did he care to be leader of the Jackal tribe. He just took "The Jackal" and title of Nuhn, after fighting an arrogant Jackal tribe breeder. He then traveled the seas with his Sea Wolf first mate, Syhrwilf (Fearless Wolf). J'dari's mother's name is J'kira Gigan, and she was a young Jackal tribe member, training in Limsa Lominsa to become an Arcanist. J'kira joined J'gigan's crew, and years later had J'dari. Most Nuhns, who are busy running a tribe or breeding, leaving no father and offspring bonding.Â
However, J'gigan spent every hour with his son, teaching him to fish, as well some hand-to-hand Pugilist techniques. While J'kira taught J'dari about Arcanisma, giving him her book (OOC I know books change looks as you level. But for RP reasons, whatever book he has equipped was his mother's). Years later, J'dari returned to Limsa Lominsa, after promising his mother he'd learn more from the Arcanist guild. However, he still dreams of becoming a Pugilist like his father "was".
Better longer details ingame IC over a mug of Mead. Right now The drowning wench as I had to restart J'dari *Didnt transfer from old server*. J'dari's personality tho, is kind hearted, hates seeing bullying of any kind. He has no hatred to other races, genders or peoples choice in consenting lovers. He can can be stubborn, not willing to back from a fight. Like his father he has no interests in being a tribe leader Nuhn, nor does he want go go looking to fight with a Nuhn for the title. Less it's to put an arrogant leader in his place. (If that makes sense)
Tho, like his father, he is quite the flirt/show off around Miqo'te females.
How did you learn about Coalition?
Honestly by random. I typed in Google, either Miqo'te lore, or Miqo'te naming. Because, I wanted to write down all the Seeker tribe names down, just something to have, as well Keeper names/lore. But in the google search it had Hydaelyn, RPC. I was like "AWSOME, my kinda place.!" So, I deleted J'dari from old server, and started refreshed on Balmung.
What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I want to say medium, because I like IRL talking to and not just 24/7 RPing.
Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I liking playing my PS3, I switch between Mass Effect 1-3, to FFXIV ARR, or if I feel like classic play, Dragonage: Origins, or I'll play BF4 on PS4, soon also FFXIV ARR on there too.
