I. Basic Info 
  • Characters:Lucient Valenteaux, A'randr Tia, Ehla Selhah
  • Primary character: Lucient (DoM,DoH,DoL) and A'randr (DoW)
  • Free Company:Sages of Thaliak [RPer]
II. RP Style 
  • Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
    Medium, these days.  I've been focused on gearing and money making for 2.4 so I'm usually nosepicking by the summoning bells, gathering, or waiting for queue.  Please whisper me first if you'd like to roleplay!  I'm usually up for it unless it's late where I am or I'm in DF queue.

  • Views on RP combat and injuries:
    My characters can be mouthy little prats and backlash is expected, but I don't seek out character versus character combat roleplay and I don't particularly enjoy it either.  I'll probably have them just duck out in order to avoid writing it.

    Please let me decide the severity of their injuries.  I know that's a common courtesy roleplayers are expected to extend, but everyone knows there's always that person.  Please don't be that person.

  • Views on IC romance:
    Romance roleplay isn't my primary focus, though my characters do engage in flirty banter and fawn over others (usually NPCs) that fit their type.  I'd rather things develop naturally over time with players I mesh well with.  It's not something I seek out.

    I don't mind writing out adult scenes if it serves the plot or character development.  Otherwise, I prefer to fade to black to save time and just OOCly discuss what they did.  I tend to gloss over the explicit details anyway, so I'm no fun if you're looking for something raunchy.

    Also, I will not roleplay any sort of romantic relationship with writers under 18.  That's creepy.

  • Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
    I love, love, love, love, love relationships that add color to backstories!  If you'd like to work out something from our characters' past, just let me know. 

    With immediate family or significant figures from my characters' lives, I'm only comfortable handing the reins off to writers I've been close to for a while and trust to help guide my character's development.


  • Views on lore:
    Lore is very important to me and I try to follow it to the best of my knowledge.  I didn't play 1.0 and it's a lot to wrap my head around, but I've read as many resources as I can.  Accidents happen, and I appreciate corrections in whispers when I make mistakes so that I can keep learning!

    Everyone is entitled to have fun and enjoy their own play style, but I prefer not to involve my characters in situations or storylines that blatantly break lore, or involve player-created lore that strays too far from the established lore and delves into pure headcanon.

  • Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
    Everything but /say and /em are OOC unless otherwise stated, and whispers with "Quotes," indicating dialogue are assumed to be IC, as another character whispering to mine or messaging via Linkshell Pearls.
