II. RP Style 
  • Amount of RP:
  • Medium to Heavy.

  • Views on RP combat and injuries:
  • Combat and injuries should be handled fairly; dice rolls shouldn't have to come into play unless players are having a difficult time determining who should "win" in combat. So long as not every hit lands or misses, seems plausible for the characters and their level of experience in battle, it should be fine.
    Injuries are up to the player character. For example, if one is hit by another, the one who is hit determines the injury so long as it coincides with combat. So, if a seasoned marauder lands a hit on a conjurer with an axe, a gash or something similar would be plausible, most likely not a laughable flesh wound, (unless you're the black knight, heehee!), and sustaining results should follow in RP. Loss of total health should usually result in loss of consciousness, or a KO, and only death if the character's owner wants it to be so. 
    White magic should be able to heal everything that doesn't include the loss of a limb or other body part. Speaking of which, the loss of a limb is left to the owner of the character's decision! White magic, according to lore I believe, should be able to revive the dead, but there should be some sort of tell left in its place; maybe a scar or brand, again this is up to the owner. 

  • Views on IC romance:
  • I have no qualms with IC romance if such feelings develop between them. I'd rather not pre-plan romantic relationships and would prefer to see how the characters interact. If it happens, it happens, however IC romance is not necessary to the character. Despite any relationships that may happen, I will not ERP under any circumstances. 

  • Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
  • Although I intend for most of my character's family to be NPC, I'm open to having players contacting me OOC to discuss possible family or tribe relations. So long as the stories can sync up, as in they make sense historically, I'm very open to brainstorming relationships.

  • Views on lore:
  • I like to stay as true to the lore as possible. While I certainly don't claim to know every bit of the lore, if something seems too out of the world setting, I will attempt to avoid it in RP. Small blends are peachy with me, but something wacky like UFO's... I'll have to walk away from. If encountered in the midst of RP, I will tend to create an IC excuse to walk away. If you have any worries, please feel free to ask me about it! 

  • Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
  • I prefer to use /say for roleplaying purposes. I think this makes things easier and allows other players to join in if they happen upon it. I don't mind using /tell for RP, if a character is literally leaning in to whisper or access via linkpearl, but I normally use /tell for OOC chatting. I tend to use /party for OOC banter too. I haven't yet joined a linkshell that is IC, and I think I'd like to keep it that way. I don't really want to RP from across the world.
