So, my character, is a healer who wants to contribute more to their group than just standing back and waiting for them to get hurt. As such, I'd like to try and get a mentor to be able to teach them how to actually fight as an IC gateway to me leveling a combat based class. Would anyone have a character, not necessarily a mentor type, but someone who would teach, even begrudgingly, a youngin' how to fight properly.Â

Sounds right up your alley considering the Conjury background and Paladin nature of being a Sultansworn!

If the axe or the lance is more your style, Oak has been known to give lessons from time to time. Though she *is* a tough teacher!
She will also give you the 'Face' if you disappoint her sometimes.
It's terrifying.
The flip-side of that is that you, too, can learn how to Face <tm>!
