K'tahjha flashes a bright smile at her aunt, thrilled that she's agreed to go with her. Perhaps a walk outside would do the woman some good. Standing, Tahj reaches to help Luha to her feet, then waits patiently for her aunt to be ready to go. Her ears flicker as they faintly pick up voices on the wind, and she briefly wonders who's not gathered to watch the hunt begin.
"Can't give her... what? I'm not trying to..." K'ile cringed, putting his palms to his forehead. "Augh, it makes me headache worse just thinking about it! I can't give women what they want. Women don't want anything except, uhm. Everything. I guess. Ow." He gave the Nunh an aggressive frown. "K'yohko, stop trying to make my head hurt with that stuff! Like you know anyone anyway. I've never seen you talk with anyone for more than two minutes straight."
Yohko gave a bemused smirk towards the elder man. For a man older, he certainly acted like a child at times. He allowed his ears to twitch picking up the sounds of stirring within K'luha's tent. The air of stillness about the area seemed to ease somewhat, relieving Yohko of some of his worries. K'tahja was perhaps the best thing for K'luha now. The nunh was almost certain that K'ile would only give her more trouble than she could handle.

"I've talked to you more than two minutes." He pointed out briefly, reaching forward in an attempt to rest a hand on the man's head. It was amusing how short K'ile Tia was. Yohko wasn't even sure K'ile could move someone as large as he was without a running start. Then again, he was quite the lithe fighter. " I know her better than you think. You should sit down if you've got a headache. You're welcome to sit in my tent until yours is set up." Yohko flicked his tail, pulling his hands back to rest by his sides. He glanced up, watching K'tahja and K'luha leave the tent.
---
K'luha smiled to Tahj again and limped out from her tent with Tahj in tow. She could get around on her own by now, but her limp didn't seem to be fading much. Running was still impossible for her. But the woman made good limping out from the tent, too busy with Tahj to noticed K'ile as they headed towards the center of the tents.

"Are you excited for dinner?" Luha asked more cheerfully, taking a deep breath to push back her feeling of doubt and despair.
K'ile ducked away from K'yohko's hand, and even just that motion hurt. "I'm nto going to go crawling into your tent like a woman who's had too much to drink. Leave me alone, will you?" He turned to start towards tent the K'yohko had indicated earlier. K'ile sniffed at the air, narrowing his gaze. he couldn't see much, but he could smell K'luha and K'tahja moving together, and he could almost make out their voices. So he began to follow that smell, though he had some difficulty distinguishing it from everything else assaulting his senses. Once he'd gone a few steps, he decided that he wasn't that far behind and called out, "K'lu-! Ow." He cringed, the volume of his own shout hurting his ears.
K'tahjha grins happily as she follows her aunt out of the tent. The heavy limp still worried her but she had no doubt that food and rest would fix K'luha up. Tahj peers up at Luha , eyes sparkling,"Fresh meat! I can't wait. What kind do you think they'll bring home?"
K'yohko frowned faintly as K'ile ducked off, aggravated. There was no hope for ever being friendly with the man, was there? The Nunh flicked his tail away, breathing out softly. He stepped away from K'ile, taking a longer way around the camp to head towards the middle. It would be good to see everyone off to the hunt in any case. He would speak with K'luha again later.
----
K'luha smiled more brightly to her niece as they walked.

"Well, there's a lot of goat like things in his area. So something like that I think! Something nice and plump I hope." Luha's ears twitched, thinking she might have heard something. She straightened herself out a moment, twitching her ears before looking behind her. K'ile. He was difficult to miss with such bright hair, even if he did look a bit drained of color since his injuries. K'luha's ears perked and then flattened, and then perked and flattened again. They couldn't seem to decide if she was happy he'd called to her, or upset about it.

"K'ile... go lay down. You're still injured." K'luha glanced away, gripping Tahj's hand lightly.
Seeing the crazy-idiot-kin of his cat gathered with others who smelled like him Rin turned and strolled up behind K'ile before stopping and bending his head down by K'ile's ear before warking softly it.  Awakened by the cessation of movement Xha'li jerked awake and looked around confusedly, and asked while stretching slightly in the saddle "How long have we been here?  Looks like the camps pretty setup already."
K'nahli subtly leaned backward as K'iara suddenly invaded both girls' personal space by placing herself between them. Her eyes quickly darted away to the side however, to avoid the fiery, red-head's detecting gaze as she addressed the two of them with a suspicious interest. It was immediately obvious from her sudden interjection that she had picked up on the odd vibe that had been cast down between the girls despite having, presumably, heard nothing - though K'nahli would simply treat it as though she were mistaken. Denial was her forté after all.

"No such things will taint Azeyma's first deliverance" K'nahli responded coolly as K'iara turned to walk away, disappearing almost as quickly as she had appeared. The archer's voice was soft with an almost natural tone, but like her expression, it was absent of emotion.

"I'll be right along behind you" she continued with the same voice before picking up her quiver and following at a safe distance within the palely-cast shade of K'iara's, nimble shadow without paying any further acknowledgement to the silent K'mih.

"Oh, you're one to talk," K'ile started in at Luha. He could smell the distress emanating from her. He'd smelt it all the way from K'zhumi's tent, even through his dulled senses. K'yohko was an idiot to tell K'ile to leave him alone, that he couldn't give K'luha what she wanted. Typical of him. Given half the chance, K'luha would take what she wanted, whether K'ile knew it or not. That's the main reason he'd gotten close to her at all. She took comfort from him that he didn't know how to give. So, really, K'ile didn't even try. He just walked up to her and held a hand out to her. "I wanted to make sure you were okay. I'd started having nightmares where your legs fell off or something got in your blood. People had me a bit worried with their talk."
Something warked loudly in his ear, making him cringe painfully. More offensive was the sudden stink of chocobo all around him, a stench more offensive than a week-old carcass. K'ile flinched away from the giant vulture and gave it a whimpy bonk in the beak with a half-formed fist.
Tahj peers between the adults frowning. Even she could feel the tension between them. She squeezes her aunt's hand lightly in support and to remind her they didn't want to be late. "Hey K'ile, you probably should be resting." She blinks in surprise as the large chocobo pushes into the group, and stifles a giggle at K'ile's reaction to it.
What was that? Why was K'nahli directing her anger at her? Whatever had happened to the blue haired huntress, it hadn't been K'mih's fault. She hadn't done anything, had she? Then why?

The girl's shy smile vanished, replaced by worry and confusion. She even frowned slightly, as if K'nahli's anger was starting to be contagious.

"K'nah--" K'mih started, willing to ask, demand an answer from her sister. Her voice was quickly interrupted by K'iara's as she approached the two of them. Defeated for that moment, K'mih's eyes could just lower to the ground, making it more than obvious that something was indeed wrong. Something was, wasn't it? Even K'iara should notice it when K'nahli decided to take her leave, as if spending any more time with any of the other girls was a waste.

K'mih remained on the spot, eyes down, half a frown above them. She didn't add anything to what K'nahli had already said. What could she say anyway?
K'luha's ears seemed to have made up their mind at K'ile's wandering with his opening line. They flattened down, and looking distinctly uncomfortable she shyed away from him. Her tail curled meekly around her bad leg, almost like a brace or support. The former huntress looked meekly at the hand he offered, her eyes lingering on it before darting up to his face for a moment, and then back.

"Talk?" K'luha questioned with a small nervous laugh. She pushed a cracking smile on her face, straighten herself up somewhat and pushing her hairs to stand straight through sheer force of will. "What talk? I-i couldn't imagine anyone-" K'luha trailed off abruptly as the nosy chocobo pushed its way forward and warked into K'ile's ear. A soft squeeze from K'tahja's hand brought her attention downward, and she tried to give a more genuine smile to her niece. Luha reached forwardly with her free hand and softly shifted to stroke the chocobo's beak. She had always enjoyed the company of the silly birds. Her own had made the journey to their new home admirably. Luha cast a sidelong glance at K'ile, unsure of how to feel or what to say.

"K'ile you should... rest... or lay down. We can talk later. Tahj wants to see the huntresses off and... that's what's important right now. Everything else can wait until later." Luha looked down to Tahj faintly and smiled a bit, patting her shoulder before starting to limp off towards the center of the tribe's circle.
-----
K'iara had gathered herself with K'nahli in tow to the center of camp. Most of the huntresses had gathered down, all speaking in excited and nervous hushed whispers to one another. K'iara herself enjoyed a small conversation with the second eldest huntress, smiling and flicking her tail behind her with anxiety. Every so often she let her eyes dart back over to the elder's tent, impatient for the moment they would appear.
----
K'yohko stood some ways off from the center of camp, far enough to hear and see but not to interact. His eyes glassed over all the women, wondering just what sort of prey K'takka had in mind. The idea made him somewhat anxious. What if there wasn't enough food here either? They'd still only just arrived. What if this place wasn't good? How could they support a pregnant huntresses if the conditions were incorrect?

His usual thin stoic expression pressed into more of a thin scowl, and his eyes narrow to look harder among the huntresses.
With a dejected expression, K'mih walked with the rest of the huntresses, albeit she didn't stand nearby K'nahli this time. She needed to talk to her sister as soon as possible, but the fear of meeting those cold eyes again was paralyzing. K'mih didn't need to face rejection right now; she didn't need to feel guilty about something she didn't even know.

When she timidly raised her head to look around, her eyes stopped at the figure of her father in the distance, as if he was the only comfort. Not even her mother, who was also getting ready for the hunt; just him.

His invitation for K'ile to visit his tent still rang her ears. Had it been anyone else, perhaps it'd been possible for it to have been a joke. But her father didn't usually joke, did he...?
Rin glared at K'ile as he popped his nose before moving around him and cooing as he leaned into K'luha's touch.  Chuckling as he got off Li reached out and scratched Fubuki as the chickabo came around and nuzzled against him.  Yawning and trying to talk around it Xha'li turns his attention towards K'luha and asked "Would there be any issues with me coming to watch the ceremony?"
K'tahjha peers between her aunt and K'ile frowning lightly as she studies the man's face. He really didn't look well. Why was he still not in the healer's tent? She smiles at the large bird, thinking of her Rhiki. He had been her mother's, and she worried about the old bird and babied him the entire trip over, but he had made the trip better than her aunt appeared to have done.

Tahj was shaken from her reverie as her aunt smiles down at her and pats her shoulder, beaming brightly back up at her Tahj is eager to join the huntresses and see the ceremony. As they head towards the center of camp, Tahj hears Li's question, and she smile back over her shoulder at him,"I don't see why not, so long as you're not underfoot."
