Three cheers for a super successful event!
The chat box was super insane to follow most of the time. But I do believe just about every remaining active RP shell was represented at this event by at least one member from each shell! Talk about bringing the community together! :bounce:
Lots of prizes were given away and lots of data was gathered for the future Eorzean Olympics and Epic. Thank you Oria and everyone else who helped with this, whether it was guard duty, cooking, donations, auction preparations, and whatever other tasks went into this awesome event! I think there were over 10 staff members.
I think I can say with great confidence that everyone from Sanctus Refero enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The food was amazing!

This was a blast! I have never, ever seen so many RPers on one place. The chat was sort of difficult to follow at times, but it was awesome seeing everyone all dressed up. Especially folks who normally sort of dress pretty conservatively IC.
I wish I had been more brave when there was so much time to make friends with many, MANY people IC, but there was just such a big crowd, I honestly felt at loss on where to start. (I'm sort of shy. XD) I tried to mingle little by little with folks though! Great job Oria and all the staff! It was a great accomplishment and I look forward to more mass-scale events like this one!
Thank you everybody who came, donated, splurged their money, etc! I hope you all enjoyed it and had a wonderful time! According to my list which I used for the raffle, there were at least fifty (50) people in attendance!
A few highlights:
- Oria got caught hiding from the party behind furniture trying to eat a blood currant tart.
- Castiel got slapped by his woman.
- The original winner of the million gil respectfully declined and there had to be another drawing.
- Sterne won a date with Sin.
- Sin got everyone to line dance. No, really, he did.
- Everyone's pretty sure Endemerrin was asleep under his helm.
- Amalthea ate a whole shark raw.
That was a very fun event, and I am really glad so many folks turned out and engaged in general japery. Thanks to Oria, Sin, Castiel, Nikolai, Saya, Merri, and everyone else who worked so hard to make it such a smooth & enjoyable experience for me. It was great seeing awesome people who I hadn't role-played with in a long while, as well as meeting a bunch of new faces. I can't wait for more events like these!

Well as usual, I was the best part of this party. Unfortunately I had a d/c later on and had to be somewhere, so I didn't log back in.
Highlights of the festivities:
1.) Sin Darius doing summersaults to the lottery bag.
2.) Sin Darius getting drunk.
3.) Sin Darius getting a line dance going. Twice.
4.) Sin Darius getting the Feats of Strength going.
5.) Sin Darius creating crazy new names for contest winners.
6.) Sin Darius.
7.) I guess Oria helped.
Whatever, Dai.

^.^ I had a lot of fun. I just wish there was a better way to clear up the clog caused by so many RPers! Despite that fact I had fun with Alona and a few other people.

To re-state things already stated.. That was awesome ^_^ Lots of fun, and y'know.... I'm making more food next time. Just in case, cause it actually ran fairly close this time, had a few people buying several items at once. Which was good! But I'll definitely have to do more next time. That, and figure out a flashier outfit.

Nah ^_^ It's better it got used up rather than not. I'll work on a better drink variety next time, too, but that was all I could make for this one ^^;

Yep, a fun event! I was half asleep after a gigantic grind-run, but found it awesome!
