Hydaelyn Role-Players

Hello everyone!

The XI:7 static is looking for a couple more RPers to fill out our ranks. We are currently seeking a Black Mage or Summoner, and a Dragoon or Ninja. Our raid night is not finalized yet (we will lock everything down once we know the full team's schedule) but we're most likely looking to raid Saturday nights.

There are some specific requirements we're looking for in people. First and foremost we're looking for helpful, friendly players. We're RPers, and while we plan to complete content, we aren't angry hardcore raiders that flip out at every wipe. We're looking to have fun and get shiny loot. If you constantly butt heads with the group, unfortunately we'll go a different direction.

This next one may seem strange, but we highly, highly prefer someone who has not cleared turns of Coil previously. Not having a level 50 yet is not an issue. Frankly, we've had a lot of issues with people coming in and trying to take over the raid because they've done it with PUGs. Now, let me make it clear that we're absolutely open to different strategies and ideas as we go along. However, stubbornly causing wipes because we're trying it a specific way is unacceptable. As stated before, we're here to have fun. Having cleared some turns isn't a total deal breaker, but it won't count for you while we consider permanent members.

We use Teamspeak and it is required to have access to it. You don't need to be able to speak, but you do need to be able to hear us as we call out mechanics and instructions.

As for general maintenance requirements, we only ask that you cap out your tomes every week and show up on raid nights unless you have communicated with us in advance. We are more than happy to help you earn your tomes throughout the week.

Responding to this thread or sending me a message is not a guarantee into the team. We will be spending some time with anyone and everyone interested to find the best fit. This isn't meant to be exclusive or elitist, but to ensure we find the best fit for our team that will be happy and thrive with us.

Hey, I'm a new player, and looking to make Ninja my first Lv50. I'll probably be there around February 17-20th if all of my leveling goes as planned. Don't know if that's way too far into the future to be considered. I did endgame content in FFXI and GW2 and am looking to learn the endgame with a group of friendly players who value kindness and patience when I hit endgame late next month in this game.

I'm very open-minded, thorough and a fairly quick learner. Let me know if you guys would be willing to mentor a new player from the low levels and I would love to get to know all of you.

We're not going to force you to level faster than you can, so don't worry about it too much. We'll run you through some dungeons and whatnot, too.

I don't know if I'll be back in-game tonight but I should be around for the majority of tomorrow. Which of your characters is it that you're interested in raiding with? Just let me know and we'll get in touch when we're both around and introduce you to the crew.

I'm an ilevel 109 ninja currently working on gearing up and actively learning fights; the only coils I've ever done are 1, 2, and 5. Trying to learn ex primals now. That being said, I'm a very quick learner and I know my class very well. My computer can handle anything without lag and I have lightning fast reflexes. I also have lots of experience with raiding in World of Warcraft and love Teamspeak the most out of all voice chat programs. I'd love if you gave me a chance! :D

I didn't mention it in the original post, but we do plan on going through all the Ex Primals together. Our basic stance is "Do all the end-game stuff together so we don't have to do it with ragers."

I'm working on leveling DRG at the moment, and he'll be pretty geared when I hit 50 as well (thank you end-game greed drops). I've only done the first three turns of BCoB, but I want to get into more raiding and EX stuff, so I'd love to help out. (Also have i101 PLD)

I have BLM/NIN both at 50, SMN at 40. NIN is the most geared at this point of the three (i104), but I'm working on getting all of them up there. I have recently cleared T6 and am up to Ifrit EX. Finding any group to go to these with has been more than irritating and I would welcome a static.

However, it must be noted that I do have a satellite connection, so I have that .8 second delay at all times, never mind the lag that happens during the game itself. I do my best to compensate, and it's just as frustrating to me when we wipe due to something happening that, on my screen, I'm out of the effect, yet the server data says I'm still there.

Also, I will note that while you're not looking for these at the moment, I am also a 113 BRD and 103 WHM, working on getting WAR to 50 with a bunch of ilvl 100 gear waiting for me.

Are you planning just one raid night a week?  How long do you plan to raid on that night?

I'm tempted. My schedule is fairly flexible though I live in England and so I haven't had much success finding a group to raid with so far. I play a DRG currently and intend to switch to a MCH when the expansion launches. I have some experience based on what I've managed to achieve through the use of the duty finder but I've yet to get past Turn 5 in the first Coil.

I'm generally laid back and prefer to tackle PvE in a friendly environment without everything being super serious. I expect people to try their best but if mistakes are made? Well, wiping is something I actually find to be fun - since it makes it that much more satisfying when content is finally downed.

I120 NIN. I have a bit of tanking experience on turn 1 on 2nd coil pre-nerf but have not cleared any of the turns or make progression due to unstable static groups The raid times are perfectly fine for me and I do have teamspeak.

If a spot for a healer opens up please let me know! I have lv50 WHM and SCH,  both about 70ilvl. I've never run any of the raids before so I'd have to learn but I'm willing and eager!

Looks like you're all Ninja'd up?  I'm too slow.  But if you end up with room I am a Ninja that wants to raid, and RP...and stuff.

Garryson! Hey dude~ Idk if you remember me from TERA oh so long ago~
I have a summoner lvl 50 with ilvl 86ish. I still haven't cleared t5 but I cleared the others.
I'd love to be thrown in the consideration pile~ I do work on Saturdays but if it's in the evening then I should be around for a coil run!
