That Creepy Musician Gal (Let's RP!) - Meishali - 04-06-2015

OOC INFORMATION:

Hello everyone! I'm Meishali, owner of Lucaell. First of all, I'd like to have you all know that English is not my first language and that there might be typos and weirdly built sentences through RPs. I'm very self-conscious but willing to learn (and that does not mean able to take insults if I'm doing something the bad way), so if there's words you see me misusing please do tell or if my wiki has some really bad grammar mistakes here and there feel free to edit it yourself!


 I live in France but I can be up really late for personal reasons, so timezones are rarely an issue for me in this period of the year.

I am here to offer RP, but please do link me your research threads/wikis or PM me if you think Luca looks like the kind of character that would be interesting to interact with/participating in short-term events of yours!

IC INFORMATION/HOOKS:

- Luca can be used for party events as a minstrel/bard.

- She is an adventurer. Our characters can deal with a contract near Ul'dah together.

- She likes talking a lot, and will rarely reject people starting the conversation, even if opinions strongly differ.

- She's extremely patient, making her a very flexible character. She can interact with all sort of characters, no matter the social standing and attitude.

- Luca comes from a rich family of traders from Limsa Lominsa. She fled her household and does not want to go back there, so we can not plot a meeting in this city at all. 

- Her mother is willing to pay a lot to get her daughter back, so we can work on a mercenary job consisting in chasing her and drag her back home. The more the merrier, so if several mercenaries take the contract, it can lead to funny situations.

- She is an archer and is willing to learn more about archery. If your character masters long bows, she could become a short-term student.

- She can act as an information dealer from time to time, so if you need an NPC to advance your plot devices, go ahead.

Oh, hey look. It's my favorite humble artist. I'm not stalking you, I swear.

Domri's wiki is in my signature, but here's a link for good measure.

Alright, I was about to get sad because he hates Ul'dah, but then your hook about her mother and mercenaries. That's a total hook. Domri loves making money, so it's quite possible he would approach her and try to cash in on that job. Rich people as the client? Oh, yes. He would definitely be all over that.

Sometimes, he has a brain, so it would probably be him trying less-aggressive ways to get her to Limsa. He wouldn't just roll up and try to haul her off so there would probably be meaningful interaction since she doesn't seem the type who would make him annoyed. He may be socially aggressive to a point it becomes suspicious eventually. (I'm also really bad at predicting what the heck Domri does, so this is all subject to not happen at all. Ask some of my RP partners.)

The oooooonly thing is while I'm throwing this out there right now, I might not be able to get to it until the mid to end-ish part of the week. He's been busy as of late and I know he has stuff going on today and tomorrow for certain. But if it sounds like something you'd be interested in, just let me know. And I will look for you in-game regardless.

EDIT: I forgot he plays cello and sometimes the harpsichord but not above an average skill level. He looooves music.

Thank you for being so detailed with your answer! I'd love to start RPing that. I can wait, so take your time! Feel free to start plotting via PM or add me on skype! I wouldn't mind waiting! Unexpected IRP actions are fine. I like to plot but the outcome and inner actions should be determined through RP. Take your time in any case, I'm not running away!

Ehm! I would totally be up for roleplay, but I shall keep Virella for a bit longer up in Coerthas until I feel it is fitting for her to leave Ishgard again. Kinda want to keep the tension with the Dravanian Horde going for a bit longer, before I send her back off to the other city-states to hunt for star maps.

Despite I'm not sure what Virella has to offer her directly, she's prone onto brooding/walking at the same time, so ehm, she walks into people. Literally. So that is always a delightful way to have her meet people.

Aaaaaand. She loves music. Although she doesn't believe hyur can play music properly. Except Domri. And Cam. Because uuh. She heard them play. Before that? She thinks they don't not possess the grace to play music so eh. I'm not sure how much your character likes to be challenged, but if she finds out she plays music she may very well go "Well then show me". Ask Domri, she did the same to him basically.
Aaaaand. She's terribly racist on top of that. Although outside Ishgard/Coerthas she does swallow her pride, knowing she's a guest in the other cities. She has a tendency to clash with a lot of people, so ehhm. Yea. Just-pointing-that-out-because-people-get-sometimes-upset-ooc-because-of-her-racsim.

Anyhow! Let me know if you are up for it, and we may figure something out :)

All we can do is shout suggestions at the sideline with Domri. He does what he does!

We had our little discussion about that! I don't mind at all, I think it's great and adds to the character interaction/hooks. She must have her reasons, and these are reasons I'm willing to learn through RP!

I did not write much/enough to my char's personality, but she takes challenges if she feels there are 99% chances she can succeed. Music is her field, so that would be a yes. She can be somehow competitive if you push the right buttons, although she doesn't really see herself as such. She's very touchy but stays relatively quiet if insulted. Relatively as in she will probably throw passive-aggressive comments and deny everything if you start saying she's been rude etc. :'D

Feel free to add me in game or on skype to tell me when your character is back in town!! I'd love to meet her!

I'd be totally down to cash in on the whole mercenary-hired-to-bring-her-back thing. Oskwell's not a really edgy-assassin-type but I think a job to bring a lost runaway girl back home would be right up his alley.

U-uh, if you'd be willing to have a go with someone less experienced, I'd kill to RP. My character is a shy one, so there might be enough contrast to make a nice session. While he isn't all that fleshed out, I'd assume he could appreciate some good music if he heard it.
