Some of the worlds on the Aether center are starting to open up for character creation.
Hope Balmung opens up in the next 30 minutes. I hate to wake up at 2 in the morning just to make a character.

If you don't get in now, wait for the end of the maintenance. There is a thirty minute to three hour window for getting characters in. Though I'd caution everyone to avoid waiting until awhile after they open and zerg your characters into the game ASAP.

Make sure to set your alarm ten minutes or so early, I've heard that it comes up a couple minutes before the scheduled finish, sometimes.

Waiting the 3 hours so I can just make the character so I can do a little something before going to bed.
