RE: Just...wow - shotgunbadger - 08-11-2013 If you ever have an opinion you're basically the worst person. This is the internet we must be calm and rational at all times and that means never making value judgement statements or ever becoming frustrated or ever even posting a thing that challenges something the majority says. It's a more dignified time. RE: Just...wow - Reppu - 08-11-2013 I'm viewing numerous locked threads on it, with one of the biggest reasons being comparing real-world situations to FFXIV, and how it spirals out of control from there to erupting emotions. In fact, most of these threads locked by a moderator post, specifically ask people to stop doing this due to how volatile it turns the conversation. You may have been suspended for not obliging this. I'm still reading them all, though. RE: Just...wow - shotgunbadger - 08-11-2013 So if I understand right because gay marriage and discrimination are real world issues, you just can't talk about how you don't like FFXIV not having gay options for marriage? THEN you are right, you literally can't talk about it on their forums. Reductio ad absurdum, invalidating an argument by taking it to its logical and absurd conclusion. RE: Just...wow - Spiritual Machine - 08-11-2013 Or it's a joke. It's easier to tell what a post is if it's main idea is stated clearly, is the point. RE: Just...wow - Ellie - 08-11-2013 That'll do for now, I think. We realize that everyone is frustrated, but this is turning into a repeat of the previously locked marriage thread. Let's all try to remember that the forum rules require us to respect one another, okay? |
