In no particular order...
I'd like to see Red Mage, Time Mage, Dark Knight, Fencer, and anything with a gun. As much as I love Blue Mage, I personally can't see how it would work in FFXIV given how the mechanics are.

To my knowledge it's not a class that's appeared before in a FF game, but Technomancer, or Machine Mage I guess would be more accurate with naming conventions. Gear Mage maybe? I don't know!
A Mage class that uses a combination of magic and magitek.
Or Necromancer.

Dark Knight, Samurai, Blue Mage, Ninja, Corsair in that order. Mystic knight would be cool too but unlikely, I'd also like it if Warriors could fill the damage dealer role without tanking.
If Dark knight comes out I just want you all to watch me drop everything I'm doing and reroll, because that was my main in FFXI.

Definitely Red Mage.
I miss my old girl from Final Fantasy XI. Remembering the times I spent in Juno sitting there looking up in the sky with fellow players, or sitting in the dark in some ruins waiting for a coffer to spawn. Though the class specifically just felt like a true jack-of-all trades. Which was fun, and in the old days before the last two expansions the red mage was very useful. I went back recently and still played my old red-mage, it just felt right even though some people looked over me as if I wasn't a good fit for their party. Great Class!

Mechanically, the game desperately needs another healer class. Scholar is a nice addition and all, but the requirement for a healer to do instances poses significant difficulties for the duty finder at low levels. Chemist would be a good choice here, I think.
Beyond that, I think we really need to see some sneaky characters and, of course, some gun users (since the latter are part of the Limsa Lominsa setting). So, I'd like to see Thief (Ninja Job), Musketeer (Engineer Job?), and Dark Knight Job first. After that, Blue Mage would be nice.

Anyone else remember this from years and years ago? I don't even recall if it was in any way official or not but got a lot of folks hyped up about even the possibilities~
For myself, I'm happy now that we have White Mage, but...
Flayer (or any sort of whip-wielding class) would be right in my wheelhouse~

Blue Mage. Definitely Blue Mage. I didn't play it in FFXI, but I've already enjoyed the collect-your-abilities game.

it would have to be a job, but something I would love to see come out of either archer(tactics class) or musketeer (rifles I mean come on, please? can I have one?) is: Sniper
