Aren't we basically doing what your saying to ourselves. We are basically forcing ourselves on two servers specifically. That's exactly how it is. We might be gathered in groups but that's because you need a group to be a community. What we aren't doing is segregating ourselves into our own clubhouse with a sign that says "RPers Enter Here". We have the opportunity to integrate ourselves into the community and, from the perspective of SE and the other players, if we wanted or needed to expand to a third server (like some are doing), we would be free to do so. Idiots are going to think that regardless. We should not and do not have to worry about people thinking/saying bad things about us. PvPers don't get told to go back to a PvP server if they enjoy PvP on a PvE server. And vice versa. This is just an apologetic excuse for people whose opinions we really shouldn't care about. 2. I'd say not having an immediately obvious direction for new players to find RPers hurts our community more than having everyone spread out across numerous different servers. 3. You have to make this choice even as the current situation stands. You choose to go to the unofficial RP server(s) or elsewhere. |
