It's just one of those weird porn things that makes no sense but they do it because it's so over-the-top and excessive. I think very few people actually find it attractive, but it's a good shorthand for 'this is super porny'.

I find it attractive.

But not as in actually looking at the spit and being hot for it.

Mostly just because the meaning is implied that the two individuals had just made out, or... had a reaaaallllyyy long kiss. Or are doing mouthplay and got a little riled up.

Imagining the above is why I find it attractive. It's sort of the spark that kickstarts your imagination.
