Two great things happened to me today Smile

  1. I start my new job at a cute little mom-and-pop style sandwich shop behind my apartment in about two hours.
  2. Woke up snuggling my bae. Which for me is still amazing because just a few months ago it was nothing but Skype calls and messages since we originally met via this game. Now I get to wake up with him all the time Heart
Though of course Bandit sometimes ruins the cuddling by situating his fluff between us. He's still Private Eye Cat about the whole 'Mom's new human' thing...

Yes also on the happy, I know so many people who have met through online RP etc.. (I had to rely on table top before the internet myself Smile ) .. and sammage!

I have a performance and anti-virus program I got on my machine shortly after I got it. It does a lot of neat stuff - declutters your hard drive, optimizes connection speed, checks the registry, and scans for viruses. Some time... last year? It... stopped working.

Like, the computer would say it wasn't on, but attempts to turn it on would pull up the webpage to pay for another year of service... even though I had plenty of time left on it. I basically gave up on it and forgot about it for the longest time.

Last night, apparently, it found an update and works again. Which is GREAT because of the lag and latency nonsense I've been having lately. I ran the full suite of functions before bed, so hopefully I'll be going home to a smoothly running machine with a non-laggy FFXIV to play. Heart

I finally had to give in and register for my last gen ed elective. I could only fit it in during the summer too, so I only had one option: "International Studies". Ugh.

But today I was verifying that nothing was messed up for my summer and fall schedules, I found this gem in the description of that class:

I think everything is going to be alright. My only hope is that we have Themed Outfit Thursdays

... What sort of Themed Outfit would you wear for that? Cactuar
