New Garlean Emperorrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Yay! Means the old jerk died. So hopefully this means new Garlean involvement. Either renewed attacks by the Garleans in a bid to show this Emperor is better than the last (Meaning we get to see more Legions and new Legatuses) or maybe FINALLY you damn Eorzeans will get off your bums and help the Resistance take back Ala Mhigo before this new Emperor can get settled in!! >=U

Ah. Well, there's maybe some small hope for that, but SE's coding has always been a clusterfuck of spaghetti so I don't have my hopes up.

The obvious reason they could bring up is that this would be unfair in PVP to misrepresent what class a person is, despite the class being shown over their head.

I don't mind it so much, but as someone without any serious alts I don't have a problem grinding for glamours. Hell, I ostensibly leveled pug/mnk just for Grindstone purposes and I barely wear anything beyond pants there.

Should take a look at that clip again btw. The Lv1 Racial starter sets aren't dyed. That's not what they're showing off. They're each wearing a new headgear piece. Hipster glasses, sunglasses, Mistbeard's Mask (um.. how did that find its way out of the bottom of the ocean?), and the femroe is wearing something that looks like a double eye patch with three holes in the middle. So splinter cell or something for you garlean RPers to play with having that third eye.


EDIT: Also can we talk about that really sexy armor that everyone is wearing in the Shiva Fight. It's not FCOB armor, so possibly the new Expert Dungeon drops?? =o Orrrrr... new Tomestone Gear? Who knows! So many armors coming out! =D

I wish we could dye the lv1 starter gear.

Also, the WAR and PLD wear the same armor. I'm hoping it isn't so blue and that's an effect of the arena, but it looks neat.

Looked like reality TV editing to me. Show bed, cut to Nanamo, imply bedroom. Wouldn't be surprised if those scenes are completely unrelated in the scheme of the narrative.

You know, for being her 'personal' elite guard and all, they sure are loathe to include the Sultansworn in these cutscenes. Shouldn't there at least be some generic ones in the background? Even in the Chamber of Rule while the Syndicate is in session, I would expect the room to be lined with them.

And that preview of the final coil makes me wish that i'd gotten into the raid content.
