I want the hempen camise for female midlanders, but for my Highlander female. Without losing the bonda- I mean. The current look of said top.

A bit unfortunate that even in 2015 we still have.. literally no games with really credible clothing physics, but them's the technological breaks.

We're getting there!  This goes back to 2010:

Give it... another 5 years, maybe?  Hopefully in FFXVII Online, there'll be a resource-friendly implementation.

A~~~nd keeping it on track...

Would love to see some light 'armour' looks for the caster classes.  I think someone above linked some Dragon Age Inquisition pictures.  That sort of thing, to make the squishiest of them all at least -look- a little less squishy.

Also, some more options for looking mean.  Two great examples I can think of come from a single Skyrim mod, pictures below.

On the whole, quite pleased with the armour variety on offer in XIV, but I'm always happy to see more options open up.  Especially heavier ones :3

Although perhaps some armour that's less... 'clean'.  Still heavy, still effective, but going in the total opposite of, say, the Garlean styling.  The Warrior class armour is kinda heading in that direction already, which is nice.

Examples?  Incoming.

Ultimately, more armour. I do so love my armour, and want more of it!

Is it just me, or was the clothing physics in 1.0 better than now?

I remember a lot of outfits that had loose stuff on them shaking and flailing around when you ran, but not anymore.

I think part of the problem was how much work when into things like clothing physics which made run 1.0 on max setting hard and next to impossible for ps3. I remember reading something like how a potted plant in 1.0 had close to 1k worth of polygon. NO idea on what the count now is but it a plant, I don't need that level a detail on a plant.

Here I found the link:

I wish the clothing physics wore better myself but never at the cost of the core game, which seem to be why something in 2.0 and onward are worse then they wore back in 1.0 to 1.23.

Yep. They had to cut quite a few things graphically to make the game more accessible. While I'm glad more people are playing now, I get a little sad when I look at old screenshots and there's so much more detail there.

I would love more dresses and non-combat clothes in general.  I think the fact that we saw a bunch of these added in the Gold Saucer update means we can look forward to more in HW, but I'm not going to jinx it.

Waiting for the "Every outfit from Titanic" expansion pack.

Also, more sleeveless tops.

Also, more shorts!  I absolutely love how the Leatherworker Trousers look but they're class-restricted!  I just want a nice summery outfit.

I always wanted something more "tribal" Before reading up on Ala Mhigo, i always thought that they're more of a tribal folk that lived in very sunny/ hot areas because most Ala Mhigans I saw were tanned and blond.

In fact they almost reminded me of the Karayan clan of Suikoden:

Luckily there seems to be atleast 1 gear set in heavensward, but for DoW.

hmm.

I would really like to see more long dresses for females.  Stuff like this:

Or even

Just something that would constitute formal attire better than, say, various iterations of the Wedding Dress in game. Laugh

I'd also love to see capes and scarves and such.  :S  And different kinds of shoes.  Most of the ones in-game are really clunky.  Sad

RE: Outfits you would like to see. - Cliodhna Eoghan - 06-02-2015

i have somewhat simple request....
more open neck tops to show off necklaces
more skirts and shorts WITHOUT leggings >.>
the ability to maybe wear two head items at once (maybe nerf it so the 2nd item stats are ignored. i just want hats and sunglasses at once)

and on a more "crazy" request
cross glamour gear. it already says what item is and what it's glamoured to look like, so i don't see why it would be 'confusing' to have a dow glamoured to look like a dom top or something. maybe not extend that to the class gear (the 55 gear from the class quests) but some of the other stuff would look really nice together can't be used because of this rule .---.

RE: Outfits you would like to see. - LiadansWhisper - 06-02-2015

Ohhh.  I would love a better dye system.  I wish I could control where the dye goes, instead of having an all-or-nothing approach.  Sad

RE: Outfits you would like to see. - K'nahli - 06-02-2015

Hood and scarves pleeeeeeease.
I am someone who changes gear based on weather and climate even though I am never actually RP'ing, so I really want some nice headgear.

That makes me think of something else I've been wanting pretty badly... at least some neckwear that doesn't look like a dog collar.  I just want a nice pendant or talisman.

I'm guessing the reason they don't have loose-fitting neckwear is because of the limitation on the clothing physics.

Yeah. We're in dire need of more necklaces and rings that look a lot more appealing. I wouldn't be opposed to cosmetic stuff like watches instead of bracelets as well.
