How many of you roleplay as a stereotypical Elezen who looks down on other races and compete against each other to become the biggest jerk of Eorzea like the canon npcs we see ingame? =D

I decided to shy away from this archetype, because it's one I don't normally like in games to begin with. He has may have his jerk moments, but probably gets along with other races more than his own.

OOC I love to joke about Elezen superiority, but in reality it's not like that at all.

While I don't play up Mar being a huge jerk, he definitely has his tendencies here and there towards some of the races. Inter-racial relations for one still make him kinda go 'hrm...'

That said, if anything, he just turns on the "Mar snark" and is a polite a-hole.

Who might one contact to get in on said LS?

Oooh, I'd like to join!

I have a trio of elezen characters; a stuffy wildwood (as pictured in my icon) and a pair of snarky duskwight siblings, one male and one female. My RP partner also plays a male duskwight~

It was definitely a little bit of a challenge to make a male elezen that looked really good to my own taste, so maybe that's part of it. But when someone gets them right, they really do look fantastic.

Here to break the stereotype that Elezen men are rare and that they are all gay:

Admittedly, I'm one of the people who really tried to like elezen but just could not get into them- at all. I can't stand their proportions and I've tried to make them many times, male or female. Ultimately I can only like them if they are wearing heavy armor for some reason; I think it might just hide the proportion issues I have.

As for the yaoi-thing mentioned back; without getting too off topic and etc etc.
It really isn't... Focused on 'big burly men'.
Yaoi has various types, one is bishounen another is bara.
Bishounen would be considered under Midlander males, Miqo'te males, Elezen males, and in some part depending on the face Au Ra males.
While bara would be generally more Highlander males and Roe males.
So there's all sorts of diversity in that without saying more... Haha.

My character is a straight Elezen male, and I'm happy with it!

Aelden.  Male elezen.  Not entirely straight, more split down the middle, but a stronger female preference.  I actually really enjoy the male elezen model, and am surprised that some people find them awkward.  Admittedly, that might be the limb length that makes them look so.. strange to some.
