Using Anime anything to try and defend a point is like congress declaring pizza a vegetable because it has tomatoes in it.

But I've been playing this game like an anime world though :X

With all seriousness, at least they are wearing something for combat to defend themselves. These robes have full protected armor around them.

Unlike some other games like TERA/Boobs and Soul having no absolute armor to protect themselves.

And then NPCs get the coolest gears.

WHY IS THIS.

Because they're more interesting than we are.

It's an altered Divine Light/Hero model. Same as how the skywatchers (is that their name?) are wearing white-dyed Hussar's/Fistfighter's.

I really wish they'd release glamour version of these already.

Q.Q. - I've been waiting for Hussar and FF/Divine clothes for some time. Since they have the best designs apparently.

While a full-on dress isn't very realistic, armored pants are even more unrealistic and, in reality, would be typically reserved for horse-mounted knights. Infantry almost always wore either skirts, or a long shirt with a belt around the waist.

True, but we're talking about Paladins, not infantry. They -are- the horse (see: Chocobo)-mounted knights.

Becomes?

Motherfucker tried to bankrupt the Bismarck. Just for that we should be goin' Lalafell puntin'.

(Also, Godbert is part of the Syndicate and I doubt you have to worry about him becoming bad.)

I think they want you to intentionally forget he's actually on the Syndicate so you don't hate him in the other questline.

He voted against helping the Domans.  He was the Hyur in the robe with the hood up to disguise himself.  I think they want you to intentionally forget he's actually on the Syndicate so you don't hate him in the other questline.
He's still an Ul'dah citizen, and according to the MSQ (In the 2.3 setup for 2.4, IIRC) it was pretty much the general citizenry in the first place that was against helping the refugees in the first place anyway. That they even had people vouching for them is actually surprising.

Even if we sometimes forget that Raubahn was essentially a gladiator that struck it big.

Nothing stops this train.

The new dungeons, especially Snowcloak, look amazing. Extremely excited for the Dragon's Neck (Ultros! Typhon!) and Hildibrand's continued adventures. Aw yiss.
