I'm not; I just hang out on the forums here so I can keep in touch with what's going on in game lore and the community, because I still roleplay my characters here (though I doubt hardly anyone cares XD). All my game time goes to WildStar though; I couldn't justify supporting SE financially with their frustrating decisions. That's really what it boiled down to - the money I'd give them for a sub wouldn't be going towards the community, but towards implicitly supporting design decisions I think are idiotic (like pieces of the wedding system...).

I definitely understand staying in the game, though, if you rotate around several MMOs. I used to do that with WoW, Rift, and TERA, though eventually F2P pretty much killed two of the three and I quit the first due to raid leader burnout. So no it's just WildStar. ^^; And continuing RP with FFXIV friends.

I just wanted to add, you can't watch the cut scenes back (which is annoying on SE's part Huh) so if anyone would like a recording of your ceremony, I'm happy to help, time permitting!

I have to say I got spoiled by the first wedding I got to attend. It had the gondola, a smarmy moogle presiding over everything, and even the showy flying kiss at the end. Felt kinda bad when I went to another and it had just walking and signing names in a book in front of some boring Hyur and no kissing. Am I jaded now? Sad

I'm genuinely disappointed only one option has a kiss in it. I'm not gonna even consider the other two when it means missing the one opportunity to ever have me and my partner's characters kiss in the entire game.

I got invited to intend two weddings thus far. And Lili's getting proposed to any day now so I'm sure at one point we'll do the marriage system dealio Smile Super excited to see what the weddings will be like as an attendee.

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of variety as well... Though we're going with the book-signing option because that flying aether wing kiss thing is just WAY too anime for us. XD

It looks good. My partner and I may end up doing it when we drift back to FFXIV around the same time that the next patch goes live. We don't know many people in-game, though - so we'd probably literally only end up with one or two guests.

I'm just glad they allow for same-sex marriages since early on it seemed like there was a chance that they wouldn't happen at all.

It's not 'cause my character's pretty much undeclared and questioning that I can't appreciate this on a macro level.

Waiting for some of the hubbub to die down. So many people in a rush to get the goody bag at the end of the ceremony, there is probably several hundred weddings every day of December 2014 and January 2015. We're hoping to wait till things die down so it can feel more special, also with his net being iffy right now with him in process of moving, we don't want to snatch a date and then get screwed. I'm a firm Murphy's Law believer.

Anyway, hoping to plan a super sha-bang wedding when we're straight. There will be plenty of gil tossed around.

We will need artistic flyer maker, whom will be paid handsomely!

We'll be looking around for someone with awesome fraps and video-making skills to pay in gil handsomely!

Also, since there will be so many seats and we pretty much don't know 40 people who still log in, we'll be letting folks come in to get the minion and enjoy the wedding who hasn't had the luck of getting invited to someone else wedding yet.

There will be cake.. and it's not a lie! At least I think there will be cake... =3
