Hello all, been in ARR for about two months now after a free trial. Long time fan of Final Fantasy and RP'er across several games. I really started into it while playing City of Heroes/City of Villains (CoX) and stayed there until the servers were turned off permanently. Since then I've been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Secret World, Star Trek Online, Elder Scrolls Online and DC Universe Online. While I kept in contact with a few friends from the CoX community, we've been somewhat floundering with just a limited pool of minds for RP interactions.
Currently my friend and I are on Mateus (yes, we've received condolences already) and with the decided lack of RP there, I did some searching and found this place. I'm located in Hawaii with playtimes after 3PM on week days and generally open all weekend. My primary character is Tylees Zhu, Elezen mage, seeker-of-facts-both-in-books-and-not and nursemaid(or charge depending on how good the most recent book she found is) for varied fay beings. (Scholar/Summoner 50)

Welcome to where it's all at for FF RPC, well it often fells like that.
If you are staying here then putting up some links to LS etc.. would be great.
RP wise I think most would suggest Balmung (then Gilgamesh) as the best place, though creating a character is hard but transfers do work. If you wanted to create a character check out this site that send you a notification when a world is open to create new characters http://worlds.nyxstudios.moe/
The Linkshell section here has many RP related LS and FC .. and I am sure you can tell from the chats we are quite active as a community.
