Help getting error 2002 - Star Lin - 04-24-2015
Just what the thread says. Game was working just fine while I was on Kestlona but I then log out to switch over to John and three times I've gotten the 2002 error code. Any ideas on how to get back into the game?

I see the problem, it's clearly 2015.
But no seriously, I did some research and it seems like it will work itself out in awhile, I'll keep looking and see if I can find some other advice.

Apparently it's the login server, either it will clear itself out or the following link explains that your router and ports can actually cause it to happen, and explains how to fix it.
I have never had the problem so I cannot verify the following information is correct

Dealt with this error before...
Try switching to other data centers. If you can't get into any of the other data centers, then it's a problem on your end (routers/ports). If you can get into another data center, then you just need to wait a while (longest I've had to deal with is an hour...) for the issue to clear itself out.

The good news is, it looks like it usually clears within an hour or two.

Just a quick update that shutting down the computer seem to fix the problem. I'm in game now on John.
