The children of the Tumet, upon seeing their tenth summer, are tied to a sacred tree while the remainder of the tribe packs up and moves to their next location. Those children who manage to break free from their bonds and catch up with the tribe at that next location, are given a name and allowed into the tribe.

Family Members - refers to direct members in the Tumet clan who came across together as part of a sect of the tribe to scout out new, less invaded living grounds. Anyone can apply to be a member here. Note: Not all members are directly related to each other, they are however from the same tribe.

Pre 10th Summer naming
Before the age of ten, and the succession of the trails of their people, children of the Tumet have no official name. They are referred to as 'Son' or 'Daughter' with a numerical suffix.
Son = khyy
Daughter = okhin

1st: kheeg
2nd: khoeer
3rd: gurah
4th: Dorov
eg. Dorovkhyy = 4th Son.


Clan Structure
Like most nomadic peoples the clan has several council-leaders with a head that makes a veto or final call on migration decisions (nonplayable). Each family elects a member to represent their cause and with it their needs and the safety of their overall family. Meetings that happen in this forum often can take from a few minutes to several days to conclude.

Apart from this hierarchy members are often allowed to learn to hunt or provide for the tribe in their own way. The majority of the members stick to lance/spear, bow and those talented in magics often stick to learning from tomes purchased in trades during migrations. By the age of 8, members are taught to track, follow the stars and always find home so they may pass their trial.

Treatment of Members
All members unless a tribal meeting is going on are mostly treated in regards to their age. The more senior member of the tribe the more respect they garner. However older members often have more responsibilities than younger members and are often found accountable over a younger hunters mistake.

Leavers of the clan or members who have failed their trials are treated like outsiders or like children as they are seen as unfit for the gifts of Dusk mother.

Story Thus far..
Fleeing the empire the Tumet elder of this particular sect sent for his people to migrate across the large waters with what they could carry. Fare was easy enough to gather with the hurried selling of un-travellable goods.

The ship was boarded and unfortunately upon closing in toward Vylbrand was met with a storm that caused the ship to crash and break upon the furious seas. The tribe was scattered and now, individuals seek to find each other once more..
