Hey i'm a newbie to the game. Trying to get on Balmung but it's closed all the time. When is it usually open? I heard the game has a good RP community so I'm excited to get in.

Early Am or after maintenance. like 3am cst.

Most people just pay the $18 and transfer chars over since that works 100%

Id make a few if you want since the character transfers up to 8. IFfin you want alts.

Welcome to the RPC!
If you're lucky you can sometimes get on right after the server comes up after maintenance or a server crash, but it's hard to do. Best bet is to do a transfer like you were saying.
