  • Primary RP linkshell: Currently none

 II. RP Style

  •
  • Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
Medium to heavy. While I do love long story-arcs and short little stories, I often like to weave characters in and out of other stories, much the way a wanderer would. Think Mad Max, Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls-type heroes who move in and out of the lives of the people they help, for better or worse.

  • Views on RP combat and injuries:
As Enambris leads a profession that necessitates combat and sometimes injuries, I'm certainly not against it. PC-PC combat can add drama and flavor to any story, but I think that both parties both have to be aware of where the fight is going and communicate their outcome. Winning and losing are both experiences characters can learn from.

  • Views on IC romance:
Forced romance sucks, plain and simple. That said, feelings that grow and blossom naturally through the course of story is awesome, and I find it adds a new dynamic to inter-character growth.

  • Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
What are characters without it? Unfinished, really. It does make sense for some characters to have very few ties (ie. wandering samurai, hermit recluse, the man with no face, etc.) but adding, expanding on or creating ties to characters I am totally cool with.

  • Views on lore:
Lore is necessary to have any cohesive story that can move forward. Lore helps shape the setting. Personally, I find that using and expanding on existing lore gives characters uniqueness and depth that they wouldn't be able to have otherwise.

  • Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
My preferred methods of RP are /say and /em, though /tell and Linkshells are also totally cool. The fore helps immerse characters into an active world and can invite others to join as well if there isn't an established story moving forward.
