Oldish player, new to RP! - Bittersweet - 09-03-2016
Hey everybody, been playing XIV for a little while now but now I'm looking to get into doing some RP, from what I've seen though being on the Chaos datacentre is a complete dead end for RP, a friend of mine suggested I look to forums and such for advice as to where I might get to take part in some Roleplay ingame.

 I've just transfered some characters over to Balmung, although now I've done that I've kinda lost myself in where to start! xD I should do some more leveling I guess but since I left my main behind on the other server I need to muster a reason to do it all again, I'll probally go with two characters to RP with, One male roe (because dat roe though) and a female of undescript race (probally hyur or au ra, but others are on the cards, will have to look into their lore a bit first i think.

Hi there! Welcome to the site and to Balmung! I've had a heck of a time getting myself started with RP with so many places to go and things to read. The people here are incredibly knowledgeable about the lore so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Good to know! I think I've settled on two concepts RP wise, will switch between as I feel like when I don't need to do stuff on my main.
One Roe warrior/general armor class dude, kind of the papa bear type. (Since I don't normally tank)
and then a more reserved female, otherwise inexperienced, probably more interested in crafting and gathering instead of battle. (an excuse to focus on crafting and gathering)
