Of Spires and Sunshine [Semi-Open] - Parvacake - 09-14-2016 Ama enjoyed the sights and sounds of Limsa Lominsa. It felt so...vibrant. So full of life and wonderment that she felt she could lose herself in between the bustling port, the atmosphere of the Wench and Bismark, the pirates, vagabonds, travelers docking from distant lands... A deep breath was taken. Her head tilted back as she exhaled while feeling the warmth of the sunshine soaking into her flesh. It hugged her horns and wrapped its arms around her like a golden embrace, a simple pleasure of life that she missed up north. Where it was dim, dreary, the weather cold. "Mmmm!" A giddy grin spanned across her lips as she sat up from her spot on the ledge spanning around the Aftcastle. Stretching her arms nice and hiiiigh above her head, even getting onto her tiptoes while her tail gave a swish and a lash at her backside. It still felt odd to be able to wear shorts and to let her tail move more freely while balmy air brushed agained it. As she scanned those around the Aftcastle, seeing a few passerbys and a...dancer? She squinted. They were all the way across the plaza, she couldn't see who it was exactly. Only a figure moving in a way that certainly wasn't just a stroll or random convulsions. Smiling at the idea of seeing a performance of some kind, the little raen began to make her way over. RE: Of Spires and Sunshine [Semi-Open] - Mr.MoonMoon - 09-14-2016 The duskwright dancer twirled and clapped her hands while an elderly hyur offered music via quite the stirring sailor's song. One of a captain and wavekin, half fish and half hyur, who crossed paths and fell in love. But the ocean had other ideas, with no end to shenanigans or hysterics that befell the two! Her loose, flowing outfit left little to the imagination while numerous bracelets and other jewelry pieces added to clinking harmony to the song. Eyes akin to sparkling amethyst and skin a moderate charcoal colour paired well with the woman's hair of deep, deep raven. Her finely woven garments of purple and gold littered with every step into the sun. Tassels and hanging beads wrapped around Ursula with every spin and abrupt change of direction. The small crowd cheered and clapped to the beat the hyur produced. Pivots, dips, and displays of flexibility during the dance drew oooh's and aaah's from the inebriated sailors. Some drunker than others as gil audibly rang clear when dropped into the dancer's cup. 'Twas only after the song's end did the crowd slowly thin, bows and blown kisses offered to each and every one. "Mwah! Thank ya, dahlings. Remember a stout ale makes song that much better!" |
