Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!
Hope you're all having a lovely day and I just want to say hello to the community you have going here! As a roleplayer of eight years I've been looking for a home for A Realm Reborn and that's how I stumbled upon this lovely site here!
I'm currently a teacher in China which gives me incredibly awkward play times, but hopefully that can be overcome and I can find a nice Linkshell that I'll fit into somewhere along the way!
I've been a long time MMO player (five years of FFXI and WoW, a year of Rift, as well as dabbling in some other MMOs!) and I have to say I'm really excited for A Realm Reborn. While I did give FFXIV a shot at release (and several times afterwards!) I only ever made it to level 35 on my Conjurer, so this time through I'm hoping it takes me all the way to 50!
Unfortunately I had no idea a roleplay community existed for XIV (or XI back when I played), so I imagine if I did I would have stayed around a lot longer! Which is exactly why I'm here preparing for A Realm Reborn!
I've done my best to keep up with the lore and I'd love to find other people who are interested in RPing in outside locations, dungeons and other places just away from the city - good, old fashioned adventure roleplay!
Current plans are for a female Roegadyn! But, apart from that, I have no idea. So more on that later!
Anyhow! I'm super happy to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all! Hopefully I'll get to see you all in some threads for some interesting chats!
