Howdy! - Narcissy - 12-19-2016
I've been role-playing and playing FFXIV for quite a while and I've always been aware of the RP community but I was never aware that it was as big as it is! I started doing some research, found this site, and figured it couldn't hurt to snoop around. I'm no expert of FF lore but I'm not a beginner either as far as FFXIV goes. I'm excited!

If you're primarily on Gilgamesh, you may also like http://www.gilgamesh-rp.com/ which will cater more to finding RP on that server. While the RPC is open to all servers, a lot of us here are on Balmung.

Yeah, I did figure out pretty quickly that Balmung was kind of like the unofficial RP server for the game and me and a friend have been thinking of switching over but we do have friends and FC we like on Gilgamesh so it's taking some thinking. Thank you all for the welcome!

Gilgamesh is (or was?) supposed to be the next biggest unofficial server for getting FFXIV RP. From what I've heard, theirs is a little more FC and housing-area based than out and about publicly in the cities like Balmung's. Not sure how your PVE population feels about RPers. On Balmung, most are pretty chill.
