Gold & Glory - Aegir - 09-11-2017

We are an adventuring free company run by the Crawford Brothers - young Monetarist socialites starting on their first business venture. Desperate to turn a profit, the Gold & Glory will accept any contract in any location, if the price is right. Because of the high risk to their staff, seasoned adventures are always in short supply and highly sought after. He’s wearing his traveling lab coat. He’s got aether goggles. And he’s muttering something about “putting those Dotharl souls to the test.”

- The adventurers have found and rescued Miho. Not only that, but they ended up teaming up with the Onmyoji to seal the fox spirit possessing her soul. But what exactly are the repercussions of that ritual? It’s time to bring Miho home and find out.
- Afterwards, the adventurers return to Kugane and prepare for their journey home, back to Ul’dah. But before they can finish packing, they’re approached by Don Coconero, and boy has he got some news for them!

Status: Open to anyone with a character in the area or any interested adventurer. The Kitsunetsuki epilogue might be confusing for new comers, but if you’re interested in jumping in on our next plot, let me know and I can tell you when it’s getting started. (Probably in the 10-10:30 timeframe)

- A member of the Immortal Flames approaches the Crawford Brothers and informs them that there is an illegal tournament going on in Thanalan that they are trying to pin down but have not been able to get the location of. But its not just the location that matters! It’s also the man running the tournamnet. They need to apprehend him. This guy is wise to their sting operations and has been evading them time and time again. G&G must sneak some of its members into the tournament and survive long enough to see who this villain is.

One Pilus Prior defies orders, alerting his cohort of the incoming destruction. It’s up to them, and those outside the blast range, to come together and get out alive.

- Dun-nuh. Dunn-nuh. Dunn-nuh-nuh-nuh. Most people have heard of the great a terrible Jozu, a flying shark bigger than any other shark in the Ruby Sea. For years they thought it was a legend, but recent attacks suggest otherwise. Two brave Confederates seek the help of the Gold & Glory ( “You OWE us!”) to find this creature and send it back to hell where it belongs!

Thursday: G&G Weekly Event - The Marvelous Menagerie of Miyazawa Party 1 @ 8:30pm EST Kugane
- As they were leaving Kugane to sail back to Thanalan, the adventurers and Monetarists were approached by their old friend, Don Coconero. Apparently he just spent the afternoon with a Lord Miyazawa, a nobleman of Kugane. It was a lovely luncheon in Mr Miyazawa’s estate. They had tea, they had geisha, and the daimyo invited Coconero to take a look at his marvelous menagerie. Did he mention he was keeping people in some of those cages? Lominsan Miqo’te, an albino Roedagyn, an Ixali priestess, a silver eyed Keeper of the Moon. Lord Miyazawa is much too important of a person to trust with the local authorities, but how much do the adventurers want to risk to investigate this menagerie?

- After the events of Specula Imperatoris, the imperials rerouted to Castrum Abania to lick their wounds. While recovering, they found the Castrum swiftly under attack. The order has been given to evacuate. But they are not just to leave alone. They must locate, secure, and walk out with an important piece of technology that CANNOT fall into Alliances hands.

Gold and Glory Open House!

With the recent influx of interest in the employment opportunities offered by the Crawford brothers, Anthony and Maximillian, through the Gold and Glory Adventuring Company, an Open House has been set in order to allow all prospective new hires a chance to come in, familiarise themselves with the company, its home, and its employees! Anthony and Maximillian Crawford, accompanied by Zheng Diremite, will be available for interviews, contract-signing, and hiring, Hali Naras will be offering food from the Bountiful Chest’s menu, and the house will be open for visitors and prospectives alike! Come learn more about the Gold and Glory and, perhaps, find your place amongst us!

GOLD & GLORY PRESENTS: The Golden Gala returns!

Two years ago, a small, newly-formed free company by the name of Gold & Glory Hunter’s Guild made it’s first real foray into the community event scene with the first ever Golden Gala. Though they had but a handful of members, they had big dreams of bringing the community together for a night of fun and games, and they were taken aback by just how well-received they were. But most of all, they were happy to see everyone enjoy themselves.

Another year has almost come and gone, and the little free company that was floored by the overwhelming response the community gave to its first ever event is no longer quite so little – and its ambitions certainly no less grand! That said..

Gold & Glory would like to formally announce the third Golden Gala!

The fine details are still in the works, so we can’t tell you too much just yet and spoil the surprises, we can tell you this much: there will be food porn, there will be music and dancing and fancy outfits, and of course.. The crowd favorite White Oliphant gift-stealing game will be returning.

Like always we will be giving away MILLIONS of gil in prizes for FREE!

- An unusual client has beckoned the Gold & Glory to the Shroud. With the holiday season coming to a close, it’s time to start taking the decorations down, but one starlight tree is having NONE OF THIS and has gone on a rampage. Local Wood Wailers are staying clear for fear of the greenwrath, so its up to the adventures to put a stop to the twinkling treant’s tantrum of terror.

- Legend tells of a massive treasure buried on a forbidden island. Four keys are needed to open the magically sealed lock. The keys were divided between four pirates along with four halves of map needed to guide their ships to the treasure’s location. Two of the keys have passed from father to son, the owner of the third key was recently murdered, and the owner of the fourth key has gone missing. Join the hunt as we sail for treasure! As we sail for greed!
