Sooo im new to rping in mmo and also have only been playing for 15 days ffxiv ,though have some insight about lore. Bear with me!

To start with he's a Hyur Midlander in the state of Gridania. He's born in the sixth astra era and was in the survivors of the Calamity. His age is not known but he probalby is at his mid 20s .
Born with parents that followed tradition they taught Gilderoy letters from a very young age thus, Gilderoy got into the arcanist guild and by furthering his knowledge aspires to be an astrologian.
He wanders all of Eorzea to get as much knowledge as he can knowing he couldn't just go to the First Dicasterial Observatorium of Aetherial and Astrological Phenomena.
Personal Info
He loves to read and learn as much as he can about Eorzea and her creatures and loves to look at the sky and try to make something out of the stars.
Is easy to get overexcited.
Has a secret love for crafting.
Distrustful of others.
Not always the most social person.
Kinda set in his ways.
Though Distrustful he has a sense of justice and acts upon unjustice and what he thinks is rght.
still in progress but im open to suggestions,corrections if something doesnt make sense please help me!
 Also if u have some pointers about maybe the info or what is missing i would love to hear it ! ^_^

Why's it secret? Is he embarrased by the quality or lack thereof he sees in his work? Do his friends and associates see it as "beneath him?"
