ok guy what classes do you want see if you could have any class ? mine are

samurai , duel sword or guns

Red Mage.

Anything with a Gun.

A class based around mind-warping powers and telekinesis and other feats of twisting physics to suit your needs/desires. Manipulate objects in space and destroy your opponents minds, or repair them! Pull on the aether in the world and literally shape things from it, and pull on and twist the aether in another's body to cause harm or heal them. I have no idea how it would work mechanics-wise, but I just adore the concept.

Geomancer, Blue Mage, Chemist, Thief.

I would let the Chemist be able to heal the group with its potions and have guns.

Rikku style Thief,Yuna style Gunner,Red Mage,Gun Mage, And Warrior as a dps, and a gunblade class! Oh songstress GAH Just take all the X-2 classes and put em in XIV!

I'd LOVE to get the Blue Mage back, Samurai, Thief and, Ninja would also be nice!

Here is a question for those from 1.0 I heard about there being a group of gun users in Limsa? What class would that be?


Also are there any fast thin sword users in Eozea that would represent a class not in game yet?

The class would be Musketeer because that's what the guild is named (The Coral Tower houses both the musketeer and marauder guilds)

As for what job it could be, well, the speculation is Corsair.

In regards to fast swords such as rapiers...there was a fencer class in the old dat files back in 1.0. However, there is nothing in ARR to represent that type of sword currently.

1. Thief
2. Red Mage
3. Engineer (Guns and Automaton Companion)
4. Dancer
5. Geomancer

4. Geomancer
5. Time Mage or some kind of hard support class. 

But seriously, just give me thief and I'll be happy.

Edit: Speaking of Fencer and 1.0 DAT files; there was also the file for Shepard in there which I hope they end up turning into a Beastmaster class. I don't think those two files exist in the 2.0 beta files that we have seen so far though.

How was the Beastmaster in XI? And people have been telling me that Bard in XI is better than Bard in XIV is that true?

And god I could I forget Time Mage and Geomancer. Time mage would make an excellent CC class.

I'm kind of happy with what we have. How odd.

Musketeers will likely be a thing, but I do like the idea of having another, not purely magical ranged class.

I'd also like a two-handed sword class and a mace user. They might step a bit on the roles of Gladiators and Marauders, though.
