I. Basic Info

- Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
Medium. I love to rp- storylines, persistent rp, stand-alone rp, tavern rp, etc. etc. But I also like my 'me time' for going around and doing in-game stuff.
- Views on RP combat and injuries:
You have to know the people you're with, or at least trust that they're not going to god-mod and so on. Injuries are on a case-by-case basis and fully within the control and consent of the injured character. I've done both ways, where I have lingering injuries from combats, and where healing magics have put me right back on my feet. Both are valid.
- Views on IC romance:
Same as combat really. Has to be handled in a mature manner, and me personally, I'm not a fan of ERP. So in the event that things progress 'that far' with another player I go with the 'fade to black' option. There also has to be a firm understanding that this is IN CHARACTER only, that there's no out of character romance going along on the side.
- Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
Like I mentioned about, I'll RP just about anything, though again I'm not into ERP. I love the idea of having an in-game family, played by other players and so on. Same with friends, neighbors, whatever. The more people are involved and connected, the more things seem like a true, living world.
- Views on lore:
Lore is very important to me and I always do my best to make sure what I do is lore-compliant, or at the very least non-contradictory. That said, I'm not as familiar with FFXIV lore yet as I'd like to be and I'm bound to make mistakes along the way. I have no problems with a polite message informing me of my errors so that I can correct them.
- Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
/say is always IC with me, unless bracketed (()). /linkshell... those are chat channels, right? In that case, it would depend on the channel. My hope is to join an RP free company at some point, so I would presume that would likely be an IC channel (with appropriate conventions for HOW we're talking over distances, of course!)
