Issue with Posting - Sigyn Shieldbreaker - 09-13-2013
Has anyone else had any issues posting multiple paragraphs? Jael'il, Nahv'ir, and I are trying to RP at the moment and for some reason, though we can see our own posts when we make multi-paragraph posts (and separate them at their limit), we can't see the second or third, or sometimes even the first of eachother's posts.

I was RPing with someone briefly last night and he was able to see his post (in /say) but I couldn't. He eventually just sent me the post in /tell. It seemed to only do it with long messages in this instance. So it sounds like some kind of bug.

Instead of cutting you off when it reaches a post limit, the game simply doesn't post long messages. Be aware of it, and break up your posts into smaller ones. That's all we can do for now.

Someone in one of the Linkshells I'm in suggested that it may be Square's response to RMT spam.

The thing is, I was breaking my paragraphs down to maybe four lines and posting each. I guess that it must be a spamming thing. How ridiculous.

Hm, there has been info on the Lodestone that there are servers that had problems with say, shout or special emotes that have been resolved.
Even on Gil it hasn't, the chat seems to die for about 5 minutes, then works, then takes the crap again.
SE seems to have some something for shout, but that's when someone repeats the same exact message over and over, but of course they aren't stupid and just change the last bit with a few letters to not be bothered
