Hello everyone! ^^ - Soraiya - 11-14-2013 Hi there! I just rolled my first character in ARR a couple days ago on Balmung. I played the beta for a bit, and real life got a bit hectic around the time the game launched... but now I'm excited to RP with everyone I have a chance to RP with in the community .  --MMORPG background: I played FF11 for a while, and I was in love with it. SWG, ToR, GW, GW2, Tera. --RP experience I've been a very heavy roleplayer in all MMO's I've played. --How did you learn about the coalition? Google  --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Very heavy. Doesn't matter where my character is or what she is doing, if RP presents itself... I'm IC. --Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I'm a hairstylist and I looooove my job, and I am a part time musician. If anyone has any advice, or any FC's or LS's that I should look into please don't hesitate to let me know! I'm still trying to get used to everything and learn all I can about the lore, and most of all just looking forward to meeting more people. We're always glad to see new faces around here! And don't worry, Google was the way I found my way here, as well. In regards to Linkshells the best place to find one is the Linkshell Hall. You can sort by server, as well. Look through them and see what tickles your fancy. We are going through a bit of a clean-up period, though, so not all of them may be active. The RPC Wiki is a great place to start to learn about lore, as well as a few threads in the RP Discussion section. The Role-Play Handbook also has a section on lore with a bunch of helpful links. Fayes suggestion of the Harbingers of Dawn are a good sort, I don't know them too well, but i've met a few of their members. Aysun and S'anhu both put up links to the "Linkshell hall" where you'll find a whole host of others. I'd take a look at "Intermission", a good OOC channel to get you "in the thick of it" as it were. Plenty of people, ideas and opportunities floating around there. Hope you have an enjoyable time in Eorzea, and if you ever see me running about feel free to say hello!
