While this is not my own work; I did find these Character height comparisons that might help those of you looking to make a character at a certain height in comparison to the other races.

Some of us spent some time during the earlier stages of beta (before actual metrics were given) observing and studying this.  There's some information and a very helpful chart on THIS THREAD.
