Hello, everyone!
 I'm a new player to the Balmung server, but a seasoned RPer spread over various MMOs throughout the years. While I love PvE, I like to RP as I'm doing it so I hope that dungeons in this game will be more conducive for that! Still learning the majority of the lore but if you see Demi Ralenah around, please don't feel shy about approaching me; I /always/ welcome walk up RP!
Looking forward to a brand new start with you all here and RPing very soon! I am also apparently very excitable, because look at all the exclamation marks that end nearly every sentence in this topic!

Intermission is a series of linkshells (its third iteration) intended for out of character communication, everything from where people are, what they're up to, and all that jazz. hardly a better place to be found as far as getting to know some of the people out in the world.

Balmungs Finest is a particular favorite of mine, dedicated to PVE content, running high level, low level and sometimes just for a the fabled battlemages robes. Lots of people around at lots of different times.
As for learning the lore, I think a great deal of my own knowledge came from taking in the world, walking about, listening to NPCs, its an interesting experience, and though the worlds changed it still (and arguably more so now) feels as though it has a decent base to expand on once you want to start speculating about things not addressed directly, but I ramble. Again, welcome to the RPC and I feel free to ask any questions you might have, voice a concern or two, heck flag some one down in Ul'dah if you get bored.

IC dungeons are something I am looking very much forward to RPing with my FC. It's totally doable. Only downside really are the time limits... But in the early level ones, it'd be cake!

I definitely need some guidance so please feel free to friend me if you're a person that doesn't mind being asked 'noobie' questions like, "Can we dye clothes?" and "What is the meaning of life?"Â ( JK about the last one, of course. XDÂ )

Just in case that was an actual question, you can dye clothes, any equipment with the little circle in the top corner of the icon can be dyed. You pick up a quest to learn how to dye in Vesper day (The same place you start doing some of your main story after a while) from a rather colorful Roegadyn woman.
EDIT: as a note, most "common" dyes can be bought from a "dyemonger" in a main city, the rest are crafted and available on the market boards.
