New to FFXIV looking for fellow roleplayers - Aldous Stormbringer - 01-25-2014
Hello everyone, I have recently joined FFXIV and I'm looking for some people to roleplay with and hopefully a free company. I am not new to roleplay, I just recently switched to this game from Swtor and hope I have a better experience here, so far the actual game is great. I posted here because my home server is Balmung and my characters name is Aldous Stormbringer. I am a level 15 Lancer and just got the airship pass. I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Welcome to FFXIV! Seems a lot of players here are from SWTOR.
Feel free to add me to your in-game friendlist (Vairemont Malveaux) and bother me if you have any questions! I've recently been doing a lore study on behalf of my FC so I know way more than I know what to do with, in terms of lore. In terms of gameplay I'm really more about bards than anything.
Good luck learning the game! It's all a bit overwhelming at first (it was for me) but eventually you'll get it. And the story is pretty great! Be sure to read the quest dialogue.

Any of the cities. Check the adventurer guilds. Also the Bismarck in Limsa Lominsa. Also seen RP in Aleport.

My character, Almil Milei, doesn't really like places with too many people, so she doesn't go to Adventurer's guild and such (unless dragged/carried there). Â She hasn't go outside Black Shroud yet, but still I've stumble on random RP with her outside Gridania gates... often the random RP finds her, when I walk around. So don't be scared to leave city to look for RP!Â
Of course if you're in hurry and time is more limited than mine, then I'd suggest joining one of the OOC linkshells or something, so you can ask around where the RP is! ^_^

Welcome to the two new players joining us from SWToR. I was one of those transients as well, and have found FFXIVARR to be a much more satisfying experience in terms of gameplay and RP.
If you're still seeking an RP FC, Sifir is a young one, but unique among Balmung FCs in that it's genuinely evil. Not corrupt, not amoral, not pragmatic - but actually evil. It's not a flavor for everyone, but we're always looking for interested players. We're fully RP dedicated, with a collection of skilled RPers, a RP LS, structure, and direction.
Please feel free to check us out. We also have an enjin forum, but I'm afraid our lore is unavailable to players who haven't joined the FC itself. Please also feel free to contact me in game if interested, or for good old RP.
