New to Gilgamesh - Fabiana Gaspari - 03-20-2014

Hey folks!  I've played a character to some end content on Gilga but wanted to start fresh and get involved in the RP scene a lot more.  I think it'd be a great way to relax and "enjoy the scenery" instead of rushing to raid content.  I've RP'd before in other games (EQ) but not lately, but I think I'll catch up quickly.

I've gotten to the point where I can travel between home cities now, so more avenues are open.  Say "hi" or engage me if you see me!

A few quick questions:

1) Is it good to get into a Linkshell early?
2) Or should I just set up an extensive friend list from the gilga members list for now?

Hihi! Please feel free to add Riley Moore if you ever want some rp!

There is a 'FC market' going on this weekend to help people make rp contacts and learn more about the rp guilds in Gilg. Even if you already have an FC, you can make contacts and maybe learn about some LS's to join! Fridays event is in Ul'dah... I believe at 8pm EST? Welcome to the community!

I'm new to RP on FFXIV as well, but if you want to add me I'd be glad to make some time for you.

You should come out this weekend too! And please feel free to add Riley! I'm gonna be pushing for more community and open world rp!

Well, hello there! Good to see more friendly faces on Gilgamesh.

RE: New to Gilgamesh - Mippa - 03-21-2014

Hello hello! Wow, it's so exciting to see more players joining Gilgamesh! I'm excited for you!

It never hurts to get into a Linkshell or Free Company early--though I would suggest getting an LS or two before committing to a Free Company. After all, you can have 8 LS's...an FC you can only have one.

Feel free to reach out to me in-game! My character's name is Framboise Zakuro - she's an Archmage and mostly bookish--but overall helpful and friendly...enough..!

RE: New to Gilgamesh - Adolar - 03-22-2014

Hey there, welcome to Gilgamesh!

Everyone else already explained everything that needs to be said but it's good to see more new faces popping up on our server. Don't be afraid to walk up and say hi to Adolar Stone or Ghen'li Verah if you ever find them out and about. Big Grin

A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

As others have stated, there are some LS out there you might want to look into joining, such as the Coalition OOC linkshell (just post in that thread about available times to get you in).

If you are more physically inclined, you can join the Berserk linkshell, or if you are more magically inclined, there is the Phoenix Down linkshell.  I am certian there are more out there, so don't be shy to ask around in /shout or /yell in your starting city.

You are more than welcome to send me a tell in game (name is Fitzwilliam Braddock) , stop by and say hello, ask for help with anything, etc.  I never turn a person away.
