Association
A caramel skinned miqo'te sits in front of you, her silver eyes narrow from behind her glasses. A bottle of some kind of drink sits off to the side, giving off the faint aroma of oaken casks. She speaks in a slow bass-y voice, slowly loosening her expression as she talks..
"You must've seen the fliers, and heard the drunken songs drifting from the taverns." She leans back in her chair, adjusting her sitting position ever so slightly, "And then of the dancing on the tables, and of the drunken parade out of of the city leading towards the next bar the stopped at. I'm afraid I don't have any thing to tell you on the subject. Unless of course, you aren't here about the various damage costs, and the graffiti left on the Flames office by one of the drunken people." She coughs, adjusting her shirt with her right hand, "If you /aren't/ here about any of that, then let me tell you what I know...they call themselves The Tavern Appreciation Association..."
As she starts to ramble, you reach into a pocket, and produce a folded up paper. You slowly spread it out, and reveal it's contents to her. She slowly stops talking, and then looks up at you, and then back down to the paper. Her mouth flops open, and then she tries to talk, but no words manage to form. She looks back up at you, with a small blush on her face, and then she brings her right hand to her mouth, clearing her throat.
The paper was a rather flattering picture of her, with the words "Wanted: Destruction of property, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication." She reaches over and takes the paper from you, crinkles it up and tosses it behind her chair. She then looks at you, with narrowed eyes.
"I've already taken care of that..." She says with a small smile, as she relaxed again, "But it seems you came here to find me specifically...what's that? You're lookin' to join?" She laughs a little as she seems to loosen up considerably, "Well then, why didn't you say that in the first place?
What is this?
What is this? Well, in the shortest of terms, this is a group of people that meet up once a week to partake in festivities of the drunken and disorderly kind. We're to meet up in a tavern once a week, and then drink there, and then bar crawl to another bar in the same area. Sounds easy enough, right? The goal is to promote some more open world Roleplay that isn't limited to the residential ward.
When is this?
The first event shall be Thursday, May 15th, 6pm EST and we shall meet at our first destination, The Quicksand, in Ul'dah. We will then subsequently bar crawl through the desert to our next locations, do try not to pass out and get forgotten in the sands somewhere!
The second event, will be on Thursday, May 22nd, 7pm EST. We'll be meeting at The Drowning Wench, in Limsa Lominsa We will then crawl, as we did before to atleast one other location! Drunken shenanigans all around and perhaps some more drunken stories from Mikh! Hope to see everyone there!
The third event will be Thursday, June 5th, 7pm EST , Starting at The Carline Canopy, Gridania We will then crawl through the shroud, and end up at other drinking Locales. Look forward to another night of fun times!
The Fourth event will be Thursday June 26th @ The Tavern in Camp Drybone . Rounding out the night we'll likely be heading out towards the Coffin and Coffer to finish off the night, unless Adolar gets drunk again and wants to swim. Then it will end in Costa, of course.
The fifth event will be July 10th, at the tavern in Wineport @ 7:00pm EST As per usual, we'll meet here and then wander off a little ways through the night. If you need help reaching the destination, I and a few others will be more than glad to help you get there. We'll be meeting at The Bulwark, in Lower Limsa Lominsa to escort anyone that needs escorting prior to the start time. Shoot a message across one of the pearls if you need an escort if you arrive late.
The sixth event will be Thursday July 31st @ The Tavern in Vesper Bay , The time will be the same as usual at 7pm EST Start, look forward to it! Any change in schedule will be posted in this thread as per usual!

Who is welcome?
Everyone! This isn't some high-class event in which only the rich and upper crust of society can attend. From scallewag to princess, from Pauper to King, you're all welcome. Do keep this within reason of course, if you're going to come along to just be a stick in the mud to ruin everyone's fun, then perhaps it's best if you sat at home. But all RP styles are welcome, and what have you! If you do somehow make someone feel uncomfortable, or someone is making you feel uncomfortable, do not hesitate to let me know, and I will do what I can to get the situation sorted out.

I think perhaps we'll go with the other time I was thinking about, and push the inaugural week back one, so that it sits on the 15th, rather than the 5th. I was a little concerned about some prior IRL engagements that day, but I should be fine to do so.

Lets see, the next one will be the 22nd, we're going to move the time slot a little latter to around 7pm, I will update the post with this information. This week we'll be in Limsa Lominsa, starting at the wench, and then making our way to various other establishments.
If you have a bar, or something as a home in one of the areas we're visiting, feel free to whisper me with details and we may or may not pay a visit!

Alrighty this week turned out well too, with Adolar [once again] ending up a drunken silly mess. It was fantastic, and glorious. Posting up details about it again, Next one will be the Thursday after this one, so that will put the next one at Thursday, June 5th, 7pm EST , Starting at The Carline Canopy, Gridania Look forward to it.

Worth noting that these events typically last well after the expected time of ending [which I generally expect about 2 hours], this last one wound up lasting around 5 after we pulled ourselves to Costa Del Sol because one of us [I'm looking at you, Adolar!] wanted to soak in the water.
Was good fun, and hope to see more people, and some new faces!
