The NEW NEW Gilgamesh RP Directory! - No Longer Exists - 04-30-2014 Ladies and Gentlemen! Recording LIIIIIIIVE from somewhere! It's been discussed that we could use a thread for Gilgameshians to showcase and make everyone looking for RP aware of what properties as far as FC houses and neighborhoods are actually open for RP. So sound off, if you like! Post a little expose' on your FC house if it's open to the public for RP purposes! Is it a tavern? A massage parlor? A cathouse (You know what I mean) and who is there as far as NPCs to help out, serve drinks, etc! RE: The NEW NEW Gilgamesh RP Directory! - No Longer Exists - 04-30-2014 And of course, I'll start! Floating Leaves (Tentative Name unless we can't think of something better) is in Ward 4 of Mist, right smack in the middle of the Admiral's Waterspire and directly facing the beachfront! With its spectacular view and outdoor dining areas, it's a fantastic little getaway for some relaxation with friends! As a teahouse, it doesn't serve alcohol, but will provide a plethora of other fine beverages fitting the comforting atmosphere. Also, the teahouse has the added advantage of housing a medical clinic run by Framboise Zakuro, healer extraordinaire!  If your character is in need of healing, this is the place to find your way too if you're in Limsa! There are beds and plenty of medical supplies. If Framboise isn't available, there's a Roegadyn assistant able to treat most basic ailments and at least provide medical attention until another healer is available! If one were to stop by our HQ in the Mists (Ward 1, Plot 11) you might just find someone gathered round the campfire, shielding themselves from the sun under our parasol, in a tree, or dancing on the roof! Peek in the house and you'd find the front desk with an open staircase leading down to our living quarters and council-room. But if empty, fear not, we are mercenaries after all, and must be off ushering some foe into an (over)timely grave! Our house is always open for roleplaying, just as long as we are there. RE: The NEW NEW Gilgamesh RP Directory! - Shizuka - 05-03-2014 The Black Sails has their base of merchant operations in the 3rd ward of the Goblet, in plot 15. They are always open for business, though the proprietors may not always be available. If one were to stop in to visit while no one was available, an NPC would likely invite you to take a look around and would offer a glass of wine (or other expensive alcohol) from the bar downstairs.  The explanation would be given that the Black Sails is a privateering group who specializes in the procurement of rare and unusual artifacts. In addition, protection can be provided should one wish to explore ruins or other dangerous locales; for a price of course. An NPC would welcome a visiting player to come back any time they wish, or to send a note to Lalah Molkot or Alanth No'telyle should they wish to discuss a business agreement. FC/LS Info: We are pirates, indeed, but led by a captain tired by the false promises of tales of adventure and the free swashbuckling pirates standing up for what's good for the common man, the free man, as told to him by bards in his childhood. When he found himself bound to a pirate crew, he found it a horrible and dark place and in turn did many things he would soon come to regret. He mutinied his captain and took hold of the crew. Alas, tragedy fell when Sahagin ransacked his ship and *drowned* his crew. He was lucky enough to escape with his life. He set up a new crew keeping hold to an ideology of what it means to be a pirate, the crew of the Wayward Star is an honourable one, at least, as far as you can be honourable outside of the law. Granted, smuggling and thievery may not necessarily be considered 'honourable' by most, but it's not as if they didn't deserve it. We believe in supporting the underdog and we may be a tad egotistical, but have survived a series of foes in our travels, including The Black, The Maelstrom, The Fist of Rhalgr, The Syndicate and the Garlean Empire, however, it is in our nature to make enemies, so we are well versed in keeping our heads low and finding refuge - hence our operations are tucked away in the Goblet, away from the suspicious eyes of the Maelstrom and a location somewhat protected by a worthy investor - Steinn Wynfydd, a Roegadyn entrepreneur rubbing shoulders with the Syndicate. We also have a ship. It took a while, but hey, the captain's old ship is at the bottom of the sea, so we had to invest in a new one.
