Have you ever been walking through Limsa Lominsa thinking, "Golly gee mister, I wish I was a pirate!"

Well this is your lucky day! The free company Arcanum wants you to live that dream!

Come on down to the lower docks at Limsa Lominsa and hop aboard our mighty ship! There you can live your dreams of swashbuckling glory!

((OOC- This is an event that is open to everyone. It will take place at the docks in lower Limsa Lominsa, as well as on the large ship connected to said dock. You can attend and mingle but are encouraged to throw together your best pirate outfit!

The dueling tournament will be hosted on rolz.org and will be best 2/3 rolls. Modifiers will not be present. The winner will receive a special prize as well as 10,000 gil. There is an entry fee of 2,000 gil. Anyone wishing to enter may send an in game mail to Raurimont Nix.

Love on the sea's will be a date auction. Anyone interested in being auctioned please send me an in game mail on your character to Raurimont Nix. There will be two categories for both men and women, 'capped' and 'unlimited' bids. You may decide which category you wish to be in. Capped bids will begin at 500 gil and stop at 500,000 gil. In the capped bids no single raise may exceed more than 2,000 gil above the previous bid. Unlimited will start at 5,000 gil and have no end. There is no raise limit. All money goes towards the Arcanum company funds.

Now, the "Pirate of the Year!" Competition will be a costume and short act contest. The entry fee for the contest is 1,000 gil per character. You may choose one outfit that you think best personifies your unique pirate style! You are also encouraged to do a quick act lasting no more than 10 seconds, giving you a chance to show off your pirate attitude! There will be no categories so it will be a free for all of pirate style! The winner will receive 15,000 gil. Smaller prizes for special awards such as "Best Act" and "Unique Pirate".

All entry fees are to be included in the in game mail.

This event is open to everyone and anyone. So grab your friends and head on down to the docks!
