Matthrian - Meet him through a random engagement in the Quicksand. Bri was on the prowl, bored, and looking for a fight so what better target then this grumpy Dragoon standing there with all these barbs? She just kept hanging her empty mug on him until she coaxed him outside for a good ass kicking.

Keiragi - Just meet him through the Grindstone yet found him fun enough to harass. Sadly, that harass turned in to a friendship (even if she won't acknowledge it)

Cliodhna - Meet through Grindstone with offering of free drinks! Bri will never turn down a free drink! (unless from someone super shady; Like Warren and his weak in the knees girlsÂ =P )

Reiner - Meet at the Grindstone but per usual, decided a fight is how she wanted to get to know the man. Met several days later and got in to a wrestling match with him, ending the fight with Sweet Chin music and having him yield. She will never forget the fight as fighting him reminded her of wrestling against her brothers when she was younger.

Bah, I have such a shitty memory, but I can remember at least two. Bartolomeo was one, at the Grindstone, where Kale was becoming a little too boisterous with casual racism. They hit it off really well, I was quite impressed by his character. I think Jancis was there too, but the character was (for that specific encounter) quiet, because I think the player was distracted/busy OOC.

Then Jaques, Vaughn, and Aya all at once! The four of them were having a drink at the Drybone inn, and generally hitting it off. Then Aya did a dance with Vaughn improvising on his harp, and Kale deciding 'Well 'ells with it, might as well try too' and provided percussion by just hitting the table rhythmically with his hands (he's not a musician at all, but it came easy enough to him!). Vaughn linked this videoÂ which was -perfect- for what was being 'played' in the encounter.

So many first meetings x_x

I do recall BerrodÂ hitting on Faye when he and Val first met, and he and Val immediately got into a fight. And then I recall the subsequent slamming-a-bottle-over-the-head, which is still one of my favorite moments in game so far.

It wasn't quite their first meeting, but my most memorable moment between AyaÂ and Val was them walking around the city together. It was one of the few times he'd actually opened up to someone that wasn't his significant other, and I really enjoyed it.

I also recall when Val first met Siobhain, and the many subsequent fights/sparring matches they had. I miss those fights ;-; and just good RP combat in general.

The first time Vincent met MishaÂ was great! They were doing Turk things and she just kind of wandered behind a tree and started listening in--until they found her. It was incredibly comical and I expect great things to come after Big Grin

I remember meeting Jacques and VaughnÂ in that little RP story we did, and it was great =) Val was so incredibly annoyed by all the.. stuffiness of the place, but it was nice to see him accepted regardless!

Meeting Kah'liÂ out in the Grindstone and him thinking Val was just another dumb brute (which he was), and the two hating each other for a while before becoming somewhat good friends!

To be honest, most people met Val either through him yelling at someone, threatening to hit someone, or fighting someone. So a lot of that is the same with him. I thought it was hilarious to hear Aya had listened in on one of Berrod and Val'sÂ manyÂ explicit conversations about things!

This guy named Kusumuru

First time he and Aaron met. Kusu threw a book at Aaron, Â saying "DETENTION MY BOY YOU HAVE STUDY HALL!"

Afterwards he was mad Aaron didn't pay him for getting hit with a book and started rambling about his teachings not being appreciated.

It was the funniest day I ever had here.

Throwing Val on to my list since the first time she met him he broke her finger and kicked her out of the bar <3

Pretty much everyone I meet falls into this in some way, but as for the ones that stick out the most...

W'ruu The'Bloodletter - They joined in on a small little RP I was a part of in the Quicksands and immediately took center stage, taking what had been a rather relaxed talk into something far more heart pounding - eventually though the course of the incident becoming one of the few people Enla is genuinely afraid of. It left me gobsmacked but loving the character and the writer both, and though we've only roleplayed once more since then I still look forward to any future attempts. Both for how well the character is written and for just how unnerved they could make my normally flippant character within the span of a few sentences.

Nah Amariyo - I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed Theula'sae meeting Nah during his second outing as a properly fleshed out character. It was so much fun to watch how his personality played out while he all but menaced poor Nah into drawing her sword on him, eventually worming his way into an almost sibling-esque role by the end of things in a move I don't think either of us saw coming.

Nicholas Graveshire - I don't think I've ever seen two characters hit it off so well as Nicholas and Enla. I've been dying from laughter ever since their first meeting with no signs of stopping any time soon. It's so refreshing when people can not only put up with Enla's flippancy, but then give as good as they get in return.

Every one of the Fireborn - I was so intimidated when I first joined the FC, but every single person within it made me feel right at home both in and out of roleplay. It was interesting to see how easily Enla shifted into her role within the company as well, and I still smile thinking of those first few RP's.
