OK GUISE I really suck at this sort of stuff, but from the lorebook, we have a juicy table outlining upwards of over FIFTY sample positions from the Garlean social hierarchy, with DESCRIPTIONS. This is more than the one in the Great Gubal Library NM, as it actually outlines what each position entails. Has everything from military, medical/engineering specialists, bureaucrats/politicians, and citizens.Â
Focusing purely on the military ranks outlined, I am trying to create an easy-to-understand rank/position chart from it. However, I keep scrapping it and starting again, but the biggest thing of all, is that I have absolutely 0 photoshop skills in building a table/chart. The idea is that it would show what each rank does and how it fits into the higher order. Perhaps you can help! So...
A Legion has 10 cohorts. A cohort has three maniples, and one maniple has two centuries. Maniples appear administrative in nature, as there appears to be no ranks or staff assigned to them. As a century has 100 men, a legion has roughly 6000 troops.
