This Sunday, the 29th, at 12 pm EST, Claire Fialo, aspiring playwright, will be hosting an event dedicated specifically towards you. The event will take place in the Mih Khetto amphitheater in Gridania, and will run roughly 1-2 hours based on attendance. Fashionably late is a-ok!
Details of the event:
*Claire Fialo, aspiring playwright, will be hosting acting improv sessions designed to help you, the new rper, get comfortable with what rp is all about. How does one get comfortable? With knowledge! And practice! (And maybe science?)
*Claire will direct 'scenes' in which you the actor are guided on how to play. There are no lines to memorize, do not worry, this is strictly improv! The goal is to have fun, but learn about RP along the way.
* Any questions will certainly be answered, so ask often, and ask away!
* Though the event will be IC (In character), due to its unique nature of helping new people out, IC/OOC will not be strictly enforced, to allow people time to get comfortable with what they are doing. I only ask that that OOC be handled the traditional way, ((In brackets)).
*Additionally, if you want to attend, but do not feel as though your character 'fits', you do not have to treat this as canon. Literally, the goal here is to have fun and help people learn, so please lets not get caught up on technicalities. Thanks !
For the Vets (and new people!):
-This event will also mark the formation of the Healing Winds acting troupe Linkshell. Are you an entertainer, writer, or thespian? Then the Healing Winds might be the place for you! Meeting a couple times a week, the Winds will rehearse scenes, with the eventual goal of putting on plays for Eorzea! Send a tell to Claire Fialo for more details.
-those who wish to join the Healing Winds linkshell will be expected to be IC, and to treat all RP as canon.
