Does your AV keep popping up? Anything that requires attention from you will crash the client. That's the main reason the Windower was made. And people wanted to see things that you couldn't otherwise. Now that I think about it, FFXI STILL does that in fullscreen!

Stupid question...

I'm running 1280x720 in Windowed mode, and FFXIV insists on putting a window bar at the top and cutting off the very bottom of my screen. Is there a way to get rid of that window bar, effectively making FFXIV a fullscreen app you can alt-tab out of?

It would be a good move if SE provided a "borderless windowed" mode. Either way, these problems are something I kind of expected after fighting with FFXI.

I love bordeless windowed game! Why, why they don't all do this!
