...who might be interested in trading knowledge/tips/tricks with magic for illegal herbs, or maybe just gil. Or, if your character is really nice, the kindness of their heart.

My character is kind of the third party in this deal, he has some herbs/alchemicals/not that much gil but hey he swears he can pay you back, but he's looking for someone to help a friend of his. If your character is old, or maybe not that old and is just a pro with magic, reply here or feel free to send a tell.

Hmmmm, what kind of magic, can you be more specific?

Does your friend need something/someone burned, destroyed, put to sleep, frozen blasted, Aeroed(?), poisoned, buried, dug up, expelled, expunged, exorcised, obliterated, annihilated, ect? Â Â

Or do you more need a healer type that can cure, heal, treat, mend, soothe, regrow, ect?

There is also the type of magic that can summon cute things that can make your friend go "dawwwwwwww".

Hrm,

I'm not sure how well I would fit the role as (by your Europa linkshell) I'm not sure if we'd be online around the same time (i'm MST.) But if you'd like i'll be around tonight, (or here.) and we could discuss the idea.

Quarimar leans towards Thaumaturgy with little forays into Conjury and Alchemy, so while herbs of a hard to find nature would interest me, tomes, specimens (bugs and the like), and even elementally attuned objects would be something that I would likely pay more for. Trading them for knowledge in aetherial manipulation is an interesting idea.

Thoughts? Oh and Quarimar is only 34, not including the time he missed, hardly old, but maybe it'll work.

My friend needs to learn how to control their magic IC. Like, not blowing things up when she means to singe a little. She's not a complete newbie, but she's got some issues. As for the linkshell, I'm online a lot, usually outside that time zone. Don't wory about the linkshell.

..Also, oh noo, my friend is IN that free company!

I'm pretty open about who my character brings to her, because I figure all magic has similar strategy with control. (Well maybe not white magic vs black magic, I dunno, I'm bad at RP magic.)

There are certainly a lot of nuances that can be applied,

Either way, while I do have a few tentative engagements tonight I would be more than happy to chalk up another. I usually pop in around 6pm EST, and stay around fairly late. (I mark myself as AFK in search info if i'm cooking dinner and the like.)

I'm confused. If your friend is in the Mysterium, why aren't they seeking out someone within that FC to fulfill this need? They have a component to that guild that consists of apprenticeship. Or could it be that no one currently in the Mysterium suits your friend's needs/preferences?

My character's trying to do a good deed for her. She might be too embarrassed to ask, or maybe everyone's busy, I'm not 100% on it. It's not a bad thing to RP outside your FC. Either way, RP.

I'll be logging on in a couple of hours and I'll look around at everyone who's replied.

I never said it was bad to RP outside of one's guild nor did I mean to imply that, I was simply curious. In any case, I would offer up Astrid for this, but she's not old. That and she's only knowledgeable enough to educate someone in conjury (she fails utterly at thaumaturgy and is maybe intermediate at arcanima right now). Good luck to you both, though!
